The size of these pencils is very pleasing in the hand and the huge core lays down colour really quickly and smoothly. Although they are intended for kids it is possible to make a sophisticated layered and blended piece of portraiture in conjunction with the skin tone set without using anything else. (See photo- done on Paint'on Natural without blenders, solvents or stumps. )I've found they sharpen well, keep a point, dont snap,erase cleanly, are strongly pigmented and compare favourably in use with my more expensive Lyra artists pencils.Whether you want to buy a little artist some good quality, non-frustrating pencils or to try these out as an adult these are really worth buying.

Great quality pencils in a fantastic case, keeps them all together. My 5 year old son ADORES them& coupled with his Marvel colouring book they keep him occupied and away for the TV! Brilliant buy and well worth the money.

I bought these pencils for a child but ended up being unable to give them away as they are just SO LOVELY to use! The soft lead is so rich in pigment that they are nicer than felt tips, the colours are vibrantly intense, totally unlike standard colouring pencils. They are truly satisfying and addictively moreish to colour with. I have illustrated a story I wrote with them, and they can do everything from subtle blending of soft shades to bright bold strokes and blocks of solid colour. I just love them and will not be sharing them with anyone! If you buy them you will be unable to use any other pencil afterwards and will throw away all your cheap colouring pencils. TEN STARS!!!

these pencils have the deepest and most vibrant colours i have ever used. they are a little pricey but they are more than worth the extra expense. they do not break easily and can be shaded lightly or, if you press harder, they can take on a much deeper shade.

Very happy with these pencils, worth paying the extra money for them.

Have purchased these since daughter was very young. As she attends a Waldorf school these are part of her everyday schooling, but they are suitable for any child or adults with a lovely range of colours, the grip is very good and great for a left handed child x

Very good pencils and highly pigmented. I was surprised to see how beautiful the gold and silver colours were it really showed gold and silver on the paper. The price is reasonable too the packing was also good and the parcel arrived on time.

Ich habe die stifte zum 1. Schuljahr gekauft mittlerweile 3 jahrr her und auch nicht mehr viel von übrig:)Die farben sind schön kräftig beim malen und auch die stifte sehr robust echt zu empfehlen.Bei meinem sohn flogen sie oft vom tisch und trotzdem gab es nur einen stift wo die miene einmal gebrochen war.Wenn ich noch ein kind hätte was in die schule käme würde ich sie direkt wiederkaufen..aber die 4 klasse brauchte jetzt filzstifte😅Klare kaufempfehlung.

Als Kind hatte ich bereits LYRA-Holzstifte. Sie brechen selten bis kaum ab, überzeugen mit ihren schönen, kräftigen Farbergebnissen und das Holz liegt gut in der Hand beim Malen und Zeichnen. Egal ob im Freizeit-, Schul- oder Arbeitsbereich: Diese Stifte sind top und halten, was sie versprechen!

Die gleichen Buntstifte bekam ich vor etwa 20 Jahren von meinen Eltern. Ich liebte diese Buntstifte und liebe sie immer noch. Für mich sind es die farbintensivten und stabilsten von allen, die ich schonmal ausprobiert habe. Die Mine ist sehr schwer durchzubrechen (außer man haut damit mehrmals auf eine Tischkante). Ich hatte viele Jahre lang etwas von diesen Stiften. Da sie seit längerer Zeit nur noch wenige cm lang sind, mussten mal neue her, und ich konnte bislang noch keinen Qualitätsunterschied zu "meinen alten" herstellen.Für mich die besten Buntstifte auf dem Markt!
