I just wanted to have something to encase my 8 inch bed, and this does the trick, although it does fit very loosely on my small bed. It's not an issue after adding bedding, but my 8 inch mattress is not thick enough to fill it out properly. I think a 10 inch and up would. there are no noises when moving around and it doesn't make my bed feel any hotter. the inside seems to have a very thin layer of waterproofing barrier material that has been heat fused to the encasement, I'm sure it would come apart with heavy washing or abuse. the barrier material does not go around the sides or underside of the mattress, so it is only present on the top side of the bed.

I bought this as a cover for a bean bag chair that I use as beds for my niece and nephews when they come to spend the night. They each have their own and I almost could not zip the bean bag inside the sheet. The bean bag was almost too big. Hopefully if my nephew throws up like he did on my old bean bag I will only need to wash the cover and not have to throw out a $300 bean bag chair

I was a skeptical about the cooling effect of this pad but I can say I have honestly noticed a difference. Along with being cooler it also doesn't have that plastic sound when you move around. All that and a good fit means I'd buy this again in a heart beat. Mind you I didn't buy this to make my bed "water" proof, just keep a layer between me and my mattress, so I can't speak for that part of it.

Very happy getting this cover. It has zipper which help the cover to stay in place - huge benefit compare to the 'deep pocket" ones.It is waterproof (very important feature when you have babies having an accidents), lightweight, top feels cool (perfect for any season). I even decided to buy an extra one while they have them in stock.Product is really worth it and I definitely recommend it.Thank you

I already love this mattress protector. I hope I never need to go through a test on my mattress however, the looks and feel of it, I’m sure will protect my mattress. It’s the perfect thickness on top with a semi cool feeling. It’s sleek and stylish and fits my mattress nice and snug. My son and me placed in on and zipped it up in less than five minutes You could definitely do it by yourself as well. It does not appear difficult. I had a Linenspa on my previous mattress for approximately six years and it held up well however, the Cooling Bamboo Mattress Protector with Zipper by Kozy Home Store went a step further with the convenience of protecting my entire mattress in an encasement style allowing for the mattress to be protected at all times and will not come undone making for a mess with the other sheets on your bed like the regular fitted corner ones do. Mattresses in my opinion are an expensive investment for your comfortability and wellness needs, so you should protect it as such. I hope this helps.
