Useful addon to a Fire TV stick
I always use wired ethernet if I can, so this was a no-brainer.Easy to set up, and works well, with no worries about WiFi

Decent connectivity to media server, no stuttering any more.....
We are using an Amazon Fire Stick 4k max and even though our Wi-Fi strength is excellent, see screenshot, and very little use made of it, the problem with drop outs and stuttering when streaming 4k movies is pretty bad. Std HD streams were ok, not responsive in the menu tho, but overall something needed to be done to return to an Ethernet connection.Thankfully this adaptor to restore an Ethernet function, albeit 100Mb and not a Gigabit type, has worked out very well. All the films and content that was stuttering or slow on updating has totally ended since fitting. As noted the adaptor only uses a 100Mb connection but it connects to our Gigabit LAN, via switch, and just worked as soon as I connected it. I did turn off the Wireless connection within the Fire Stick.Micro USB is the expected connection for the power source and also to connect to the device.Std ethernet port is available for connection.Very impressed, great price and good quality with a great outcome.Very much recommended.Hope this helps.

Read max speed firestick and this can output...
Would give it 5 stars if the firestick wasn't limited in speed. Was expecting to get same speeds or close to my ISP speeds. My own fault for not reading up however does stay steady 80-90mbps which is fine. Quality of the ethernet adapter seems good easy setup and no issues so far.

Works well
This is an essential piece of kit for the fire stick in my opinion especially if you are streaming content in 4k. The picture quality is much better with no drops using an ethernet cable, the build quality of the device is fine but it's not as if you'll be using it every day you basically plug it into your fire stick and then plug your ethernet cable into there. I will say it has good functionality in terms of it does work with those little power adaptors where you can essentially store power from the USB outlet of the TV into a capacitor and then discharge that power into the fire stick. So if you are wondering would it work with that, the answer is yes. Overall it's quite small and it fits right behind our TV even though we've got the TV attached to the wall and it's very easy to install literally just plug in and play.

easy and works well
This works well - as do all Amazon products. It allows the firestick to be wired directly into the router, potentially providing a stronger and steadier connection. Simple to set up - takes a few seconds and was a great improvement.

Works very well ... until it broke after a month
I have bad WiFi signal around the house (thick walls, lots of steel joists) so this ethernet adaptor for my Firestick was a godsend. I use it combined with a Western Digital Livewire Powerline home intranet system. It was very easy to install and the reaction speed, loading time and picture quality on my Firestick was transformed. This seemed like the best £16 I'd spent in a long time. That was in early August. A month later the Firestick said it could not find any signal and the Network setting showed it was not connected to the internet. I swapped back to using WiFi and it worked (slowly). I changed the CAT-5E cable, I checked to see if other units running of the WD Livewire system were working (they were) ... so I had to conclude that the ethernet adaptor had broken after only a month. I ordered a second ethernet adaptor and it has just arrived. I plugged it in, switched off the WiFi signal, and the wired network started working straight away. So it was a duff adaptor. This is a great bit of kit, and really good value for someone in my position, but it needs to be able to last longer than a month. I just have every finger crossed that my first adaptor was a one-off bad unit, and this second one will last a year or two, at least.
