There was a test polaroid strip included with these over-glasses, so you could make sure they are really are polaroid which I think is an excellent idea - especially when some are advertised as polaroid when they're not. The shape is a more rounded than many of the other designs, which I think think suits women's faces a little better than the rectangular ones. I am very pleased with them.

These arrived the day after I ordered them on prime and I was very impressed with them especially compared to some of the other alternatives that I ordered which were either cumbersome or huge or fell off. Definitely a plus that they stay on and feel secure. The frame is attractive and the over glasses come with their own little protective bag and cleaning cloth. A plastic case would be light and offer more protection but would be more bulky in a pocket or handbag.
