Excellent for heavier folks
If you're overweight (or just want really soft amazing shoes) then these are what you want.. very soft and cushioned, perfect for heavier people who want to start running but not have shin splints or leg pain afterwards.. this is one of, if not the best pair of running shoes you can buy if comfort is what you need.. wear then for a mile or so and let them break in then you're all set.. they're comfortable as soon as you put them on..

Very soft cushion which is bad for running, and just ripped
I guess I didn't know what I was doing when I bought these shoes for running. They felt nice and soft and cushioned (the fad these days is "cloud" anything and these match that well). I then learned that for running I like it better when the shoe has some spring to it and sort of propels you with each step. This style actually seems to absorb a lot of the energy from each step which probably feels good on your joints but means going for a nice run or something is even harder.Just today, about a year and half after purchasing and with VERY moderate use (wearing to the gym to stand in and lift weights, 2-3 mile runs, etc), the inside of the shoe ripped while I was putting it on. I guess that means their life is over.
