The lamp looks good now, seems solid. It took three tries to get a undamaged lampshade. First shipping box was crushed, lampshade dented. Second lampshade was split along the seam. Third one is fine. Lamps plus was responsive in sending replacement shades but they have some packing and shipping issues. My daughter also received a lamp with broken glass globe. Again seller replaced promptly but packing issues. Seller needs to improve quality control in packing /shipping!

The quality of this lamp is terrible. And even terrible is a compliment for this product. I am 100% that there are many other products similarly priced out there of much better quality. The drop shape of the base is wielded to a tube that supports the shade. That wielding is entirely misaligned (at least in the one I got). The material of the lamp shade is pretty bad and was slightly damaged when it arrived. Since another review points the same, I am starting to think it does not get damaged "in-transit", but it is just poorly stored.The worst nightmare is unpacking the lamp. There is a packing tape galore and in the end, full of frustration, you better rip the box open and get your vacuum cleaner, because the whole house will get messy with styrofoam

My husband found this lamp on line while we were working through renovating our master bedroom. This lamp is a statement piece and was easy to assemble. When we got our first one though, it was a bit crooked - however after contacting the seller we were able to resolve the issue quickly. We put a soft LED light bulb in the lamp and it fits the room perfectly. Both the sleek styling of it as well as the soft light it provides.

I love the unique look of this lamp. It was easy to put together and looks great.The included instructions don't list what the maximum wattage is for this (it is in the listing though - max 150 watts)As other reviewers mention, it arrived with some damage. There's a crease in the shade that is very visible when the light is on, and it's directly across from the shade's seam, so I can't hide it in the back.I also didn't receive a washer to attach the shade, so it's just balancing on the base - not ideal.

These lamps are so pretty (I bought two)! They add just the right lighting to my family room without being overpowering. I like the foot switch for on and off because the design would make it very hard to reach in and use a switch. These floor lamps were easy to put together. I did it alone. I did take advice from others and unpacked them in my garage with my shop vac handy to catch all the styro-foam. The packing is a bit of a pain but totally necessary to protect the big shades. Shades are white. Base is brushed nickel finish.

The lamps are very nice but we had some issues with the shade on the floor lamp. They were easy to get in touch with and even easier to get the problem solved. Great company. REVISED 3-17-20 So we received the new shade and it was damaged as well ( see photos) Decided to see what we could do with it and found a large dent in the base. I called customer service and spoke with a CSX rep that offered me a 10% discount to keep the $200 lamp since I didn't have "pictures" ...well...here are your pictures. Two shades a dented lamp and a 15-minute conversation with a CSX rep that wasn't very pleasant I decided to cut my loss and just return the thing. 3-18-20 UPDATE Customer service manager contacted me and we cut a deal to keep the floor lamp. No thrilled but it beats boxing the thing back up and shipping it out.
