I bought the “X-Large Mosque Size Hardcover Tajweed Holy Quran” and am happy with the purchase. I would recommend this book to somebody who is (a) new to the Quran and to the Arabic language, or (b) whose eyesight is not that great, or both. I would not recommend it for somebody that wants easily-accessible study aids in any language other than Arabic (e.g, facing-page translations or interlinear) or who want to carry the Quran from place to place, as it is big (14 inches by 10 inches) and heavy.My main purpose for buying the Quran in such a large size is that the individual letter shapes, pointing, and pronunciation aids can be difficult for people not very familiar with Arabic writing to make out if the printing is small, or not distinct. This book has large print which is printed very distinctly and is quite easy to read. Additionally, the print is color-coded for tajweed, or instructions on which letters to elongated, omitted, etc., when chanting the Quran. The pages are large, there are only 15 lines of text to the page, and very little space is taken up by footnotes, translations, or other study aids. There are some apparent indexes, diagrams, and other study aids in the book, but these are all in Arabic. There are also a few margin notes in Arabic. Naturally, I cannot read these, but they are unobtrusive.There is very little English (or any language other than Arabic) in this Quran. Basically the English is limited to a single page explaining the color coding for the tajweed. However, this has some advantages as well. The main one is that page space is not taken up with translations or notes, allowing for larger lettering. The chapter and verse designations in the Quran are standardized and clearly marked, so it is not difficult to find the English translation to any verse in a separate English translation, either in another book or a cell phone. Also, each page in this Quran has a small QR code on it which, when scanned with your cell phone camera, takes you to an exact copy of the page on the publisher’s internet page. On this site you can have the page read (chanted) to you by any of several readers, and you can also have the page read to you translated into several different languages, including English. The interface of the web page is in Arabic, but can easily be set to English. These features do not cost anything extra. It really is pretty cool.The Quran itself is beautiful, it is easy to distinguish the letters and types and locations of the diacritics, and the addition of the Internet aids associated with this Quran are very helpful for people who do not read Arabic well (or, even people who do speak Arabic but want to learn the tajweed, I would think).The Quran apparently comes in red or green. Which you get is whatever they send you. You cannot specify in the order. I happened to get mine with a red cover.

This is wonderful Quran if you are learning tajweed. I also love the QR codes on each page that take you to the same page online with recitation and repetition of the recitation if you are trying to memorize. Worth every penny!

I ordered the 10x14, I love it. The font of in big clear letters for beginners to read and even older folks that can't see small text. Its exactly like the picture! I'm pleased !
