Setup was easy. Worked flawlessly until I turned of the room lights. Night vision is dead & is not switching on. Tried resetting but had same issue with night mode not functioning. Color vision Quality is accepted but the product is presently useless as it is defective. Will post an update when I get a replacement.2nd & 3rd units Review update:The 1st unit's replacement is already on way & I'm glad for that. The other two units worked flawlessly without any issues I faced with night mode. TP-Link's Tapo app was good with a clean UI with ability to view upto 32 cameras just like a cctv system.Pros:Easy setup, 128Gb storage, No SD errors like problems i faced in Mi cameras. Ability to connect the cameras to a NVR system as ONVIF protocol IP cameras.I added these cameras to my Synology DiskStation NAS system that has amazing surveillance station software that can beat any NVR systems available in india.Motion detection was too sensitive, had to reduce the sensitivity & muted the notifications on the phone.These are really good stable performing cameras. I can say these are very reliable for use as IP cameras.I'm currently using six Tapo C100 Cameras. No issues faced except for my first order. I'll be purchasing more & am planning to expand these upto 24 cameras. Waiting for the C310 outdoor camera to launch.October's end update: Using a total of 12 Tapo C100 & 2 Tapo C200 cameras with my Synology DS218+ DiskStation NAS system. Zero hiccups. Very stable performance all streaming at 1080p 15fps. Very happy with the Tapo series cameras. Will update here on long term performance next year. Planning to add 6 more cameras but waiting for Tapo C310 outdoor to launch.

The camera is amazing, I use it to watch my dog, Love the functionality and the quality, The app is also easy to use and performance is also amazing, the bad weather is also not an issue for this product, as it rains quite frequently,

I bought this camera for my parents' home entrance to monitor drunkards littering. I fitted the camera 3 days after it arrived and it worked for exactly 5 days. It wouldn't even boot ON after that. The camera only has a 7 day replacement and the camera failed on the 8th day. The camera has a 1 year warranty so I called the customer care and they asked me to take it to the regional center and these are only in State capitals or major cities and the nearest one for me was 300 kms away. When I told them the issue, they asked me to send the camera by courier. I had to pay 400 Rs for the courier charge, to mail them the camera, so 2400 for camera + 400 for courier all for working 5 days exactly.The first nightmare started when I informed the regional rep that I have mailed the camera but I'm not a happy customer as I have to pay additional for not my fault. He called me and spoke condescendingly that I he hasn't received the camera yet but I'm complaining of delay. I asked him to read the email again as it was about my experience and the additional cost. Then he said once they receive my unit, they will send a replacement. I called the next week again as I didn't hear back and he said it will take 10 days to send the replacement. The 10 days came and went, no product and no update either. I mailed back and I was promised that the item was in transit from the warehouse. I waited 2 more weeks and nothing arrived. I sent a hard worded email copying their management and support including a person called Shawn Qiu. Again, the regional rep responds that they will ship it shortly either that evening or the next day, so they never even shipped my item the previous weeks when they promised it was in transit. Its been more than a month and I have neither received a replacement nor any update. I have since bought a new camera from another brand and moved on. This is just not fair in this day and age. Save yourself the trouble, find a better alternative. I'll consider legal options against this company, if I do not receive the item or a refund by next week. This is not okay.

Recording schedule Option is really great (Continuous , Detection and dont record options)2. Having option to choose quality of video3. Continuous recording feature is good - Hope it is saving in Memory card4. Mobile app and control is good5. Night vision is good i have attached video quality of the same here6. Video recording is good . I used 64gb memory card . The two way talking is crisp and clear. The opponent speaking from camera is very clear.7. Setup is simple and easy8. Mobile app is great9. The App features are more advanced and great . Timelines can be zoomed and navigate to desired timeframe easilySuggestions to the Product owner as below1. Please see whether the Android app can be extended for Smart TV as well2. Person deduction and some AI features are paid subscription. As a software engineer, this is just a feature which can be provided free of cost but charging for such feature is not fair. You can charge for cloud storage but not for basic features like person deduction30 days free subscription gives person deduction and some AI features like notify on person defection etc.,Overall Great product and Value for moneyNo USB wired support but direct adaptor connection for power supply which is again a drawbackRecommend buying this
