Q: Can I use this to dehydrate ethanol?

I use it for this purpose as well. Common store purchased 151 proof grain alcohol can be very pure with this. I do 2 absorption and separations to get anhydrous or nearly anhydrous ethanol A plain coffee filter or filter paper removes most of the dust/cloudiness. The rest easily settles out over a few days and the liquid can be separated from it.

Molecular sieves are definitely not a single-use material. You could do that but you're "doing it wrong." There are numerous recommendations for drying/reactivating them. Try one or more until you find one that works for you.

Lithium zeolite and argon zeolite are the 2 most specific types for oxygen concentration. Lithium is the most effective, but also more costly.

I regen at 250 to 300 1 hr with heated air the dewpiont less then 10% other people have deferential results best to keep air moving without burning if you burn the sieves that will be less effective to absorb water molecule if you live in dry climate it takes less energy humidity plays big factor you have to experiment in your area
