I can’t imagine a 6-year old kid having a cooler or more professional looking glove than this one! We got the 10” Bryce Harper model and it fits my 48 inch, 60 pound 6 year old perfectly!He was catching with it instantly out of the box, and afterwards I put some Glove Butter and wrapped it, and now less than 24 hours later I’d say it’s about 85%-90% broken in already. My son loves it and I could be happier. I only wish my glove was this cool when I was his age!5 out 5 stars!!! Highly recommend. Buy it! You WON’T be disappointed!!!!

Before buying my 7-year-old nephew this glove, when I would whip line-drives at him, he would try to dodge the ball and whine that catching with his barehands hurt. Now, he's catching more liners and crying less. (No kids were actually hurt).This is a great first glove, and a natural bridge between t-ball and beginning coach pitch. It depends on the size of your kid, but in general, 5 and 6-year-olds should be in about a 10" glove, 7 to 9-year-olds around an 11" glove and 10 to 12-year-olds can start to get in the 11.5" or 12" gloves. So I expect this glove to last him a couple years before he grows out of it.It's a nice material, which means it needs to be broken in. Don't show up to practice #1 with the glove straight out of the package. And you'll probably need to help your kid break in the glove (work the leather, use glove oil, lots of catch).

Got this for my ten year old and it's a good glove, just not a great glove. For the money we spent on it I think it was a good value. With a little oil the leather flexed pretty well, and it's holding up so far.

Super happy with the glove and my 6 1/2 year old son loves it. The size 11 seems to fit him well and it looks and feels great. The only difference from the listing and reality is that the glove is nowhere near "90% broken in". That's just crazy. Any new glove needs to be properly broken in and worked. I suggest you YouTube "Aso glove break in" and learn from the master how to properly break a glove in. I realize playing catch is the best way - but when you're 6 you still need to be able to close the glove a little before going out in the front yard.

Great glove for an 8 year old with normal size hands with room to grow. The glove does need to be broken in so you have to keep working it.
