Good cream
I have not used bakuchiol as an alternative to retinol before so thought I would try this product. It is not super strong like retinol so I am comfortable using this more often. The texture is a bit thick but applies onto the skin smoothly. I use this mainly at night and have noticed smoother, brighter skin in the morning. The scent is very strong though similar to essential oils. If fragrance is a big deal for you, this might be something you would consider.

Very nice product!
SONAGE Anti-Aging Moisturizer With Bakuchiol is a nice product. It moisturizes very well. The product has a pleasant scent. I've been using it at night time and my skin seems to like it. It will take time for dark spots to lighten. I had to pump a lot to get the cream flowing. I don't have problems with retinol but I did want to try the Bakuchiol alternative. I show no sensitivity to this formula. My skin glows and feels nicely hydrated. I am also using it on the backs of my hands as I can see spots starting to show there. I like this product and I would recommend it.

Not impressed
The media could not be loaded. I had such high hopes for this product because of its bakuchiol content. As my skin is too sensitive for retinol, I have been looking for a good bakuchiol serum or cream. It turned out that this product disappointed me very much.I was underwhelmed by the cheap-looking plastic jar without any safely seal. The wide pump dispenser was very inconvenient to use: the tip of the dispenser is lined up with the edge of the jar and I could not get the content without spilling onto the jar. If the dispenser had been raised a little so I could get my finger underneath it, that would have been acceptable. As I tested the cream on my hand, I could smell strong perfume. So I looked up the ingredients and realized that the product description did not list all of the ingredients. I was able to get the full list from the company website. Listed 2nd is coconut oil which is highly comedogenic or pore-clogging which is why I try to avoid. I was a little shocked to see such ingredients in a $60 cream. Here's the full list of ingredients.(ethylhexyglycerin is misspelled: it should be ethylhexylglycerin.)water, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil*, glycerin, olea europaea (olive) oil*, persea gratissima (avocado) oil*, cetearyl alcohol, sclerocarya birrea (marula) oil, tetradecane, glyceryl stearate, potassium cetyl phosphate, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, bakuchiol, palmitoyl tripeptide-37, sodium hyaluronate, ceramide np, arginine, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil, leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, pogostemsorbitan olivateon cablin (patchouli) oil*, cedrus atlantica (cedarwood) wood oil*, jasminum grandiflorum (jasmine) oil, helichrysum italicum flower oil*, pentylene glycol, ethylhexyglycerin, sodium dehydroacetate, xanthan gum *organic ingredients

Feels Moisturizing
Research shows that the bakuchiol can smooth fine lines, and stimulate collagen production. If you are sensitive to the drying effects, etc. of retinoids, bakuchiol might be something worth trying. The fact that it’s less irritating is what made me want to try this moisturizer. It’s gentle enough to use twice a day and it also may help to finally get rid of the two dark spots I have near my hairline.🤞The one thing that I’ve read is that the concentration most effective is between 0.5 and 2.0% and this moisturizer does not show the percentage on the package or on the product page(hopefully this product is within that range). The articles that I’ve read say it takes a minimum of 12 weeks to see a reduction in wrinkles and dark spots. I’ve only been using this product since the beginning of the month, after doing two days of patch tests, which showed no adverse effects. I am using it twice a day but it’s still way too early to see any kind of noticeable improvement.I’m not a huge fan of these airless pump containers. The last product I tried left so much in the bottom of the container that when the pump stopped working, I was able to remove the lid and wound up with two more weeks of product. Hopefully that isn’t what happens with this product too since it is a different company.I’ll update after the 12 weeks if I see any noticeable improvements.

Night cream bliss
I've been using this as a night cream that is luscious after I use my retinol. It feels soft and creamy and I feel it seals in the retinol. It's not greasy and I've used this brand before and liked it a lot. I like the minimal look of the packaging. That said, the product has barely a scent and is non irritating. Feels like a simple luminous cream. I like that at night it doesn't migrate into my eyes and irritate them if it gets too close to my eyes when I apply. It also dries enough that it doesn't leave my pillow greasy.

A little pricey - but still a good cream.
I asked my son who works in the skin-care industry to look at the ingredients for this product, and this was hiw response: The ingredients are good - with a lot of moisturizing oils with powerful ingredients (non-retinol). However, if you are sensitive to Essential Oils, then this product may not be for you as the scent is fairly strong. If you are comfortable with the scent (and product price), then this is a good moisturizing retinol-alternative cream.I have used it for about a week now and it does seem to feel beneficial and feel good. I am not comfortable with the scent for daytime use (i.e. I don't put it on in the morning and then go to work), but I do apply the cream at night before going to bed. A little pricey - but still a good cream.
