Can the amplifier damage a setup top box if the cable run is less than 35 meters? I've read that amplifiers should only be used on long cable runs.Thx

Not very likely to cause any damage. Short cables shouldn't require an amplifier unless you are using a splitter to supply more than one box.

i have a freesat box and a openbox1 to the freesat &1 tothe openbox both good except when i try to record on the freesat says no signal will this work

When I installed these on my Sky HD it gave me an immediate 20-30% improvement in signal strength and quality, if your problem recording is due to either of these issues then maybe worth trying.

I have a humax freesat recorder box do i need to buy 2 boosters ? one for the tv line in and one for the recorder line in?
