Very Successful
After a new house move, I started to notice signs of mice in our new garage (chewed matting). In the past I have used the 'humane' traps that seemed to do the job. However, due to the mice being more active in the evening, it was often a number of hours between checking the traps and one unfortunate rodent actually died in a trap that was intended to keep it alive. Not so humane in this case I assume due to stress, suffering and dropping temperatures. I then made the decision to opt for a traditional trap, with the 'Enclosed Clear trap' seeming to be a good option. I used the tried and tested peanut-butter as bait and left the trap along a wall of the garage. The trap did exactly what it was meant to and I actually had several mice trapped during the course of the week. Due to our fairly rural location, I have now had to concentrate more on ensuring the garage is fully secure as just too many were getting in and getting captured (field mice I think). The trap did the intended job, however, so I have to give it full marks for that. It's easy to use and ensures you know exactly when there is a mouse inside due to the clear housing and yellow bar that, if down, means you have a hit. It out-performed the electronic trap I also tried by a significant margin, so was the better option of the two. All in all a successful purchase, however in my case I think prevention is better than cure.

Rentokil PSE07 Enclosed Mouse Trap
Our cat got to bringing home a mouse at intervals, and the dead ones were found eventually by our cleaner in odd places. Then one night the cat came into the living room and dropped a live mouse on to the floor, It scampered straight away under the settee. My wife and I then spent about two hours chasing the mouse between arm chairs, record cabinet, and dragging out bits of furniture, missing the mouse each time. "This can't go on", said my wife, "what are you going to do about it?" Our cat Lola just look at me and purred. I bought two mouse traps. One was an enclosed 'Pest Stop' trap that caught them alive, and the other was this Rentokil trap in an enclosed box. The next night a bang announced a kill just after we went to bed. I reset the trap and the next morning another one was caught. One more was caught using the recommended peanut butter, and since then all is peaceful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the enclosed box is not easy to open with the pronged key. It works and is recommended..

Mouse trap
I borrowed an enclosed mouse trap so I knew what they were like. These didn't disappoint. The beauty of these is I can leave the box on the floor with chocolate in and the dog cant get at it, also when a mouse is caught I don't have the dog dragging the body around!! Gross I know put true. Dog cant catch a live mouse to save his life but likes to show off with the dead ones. The boxes are easy to use and easy to clean.

Disappointed
I know I have mice as the cat chased one under the cooker. This looked like the perfect solution. Unfortunately I didn't catch any mice placing it beside the wall next to the cooker on 2 separate evenings, changing sides. I eventually took the trap out of the box and put it in the utility room which is where I think the mice are coming from. My mice must be very light on their feet as I have only succeeded in losing the bait. I even made sure the chocolate was at the very bottom of the holder so they would have to work for it. The chocolate is gone, no mouse to be seen, trap still intact. In the plus side it is very easy to set the trap without losing any fingers in the process. I will just have to go back to the old wooden traps.

Works well
This does exactly what it says it does I hate using a mouse trap but this one is brilliant.

Worked. Eventually!
It caught the mouse. Eventually. After eating 2 lots of peanut butter without setting the trap off, the mouse triggered the trap 3rd time round!

Hygienic, safe and very effective.
These little boxes, combined with a blob of peanut butter in the bait hole, cleared my garage of a mouse infestation very quickly. Hygienic and safe if you have kids and pets or are just creeped out about picking up and disposing of dead mice. You don't even have to see them, but the trap signals they have been caught. Add peanut butter, arm the traps and gently position where there is evidence of mice running.
