Waterproof and light.
I walk the dog through local woods and wanted something light and waterproof so I’m not weighed down with my hiking boots. These are superb, waterproof, really light and grip so well, perfect for power walking in muddy conditions.I usually take a UK 8.5 but ordered a 9 as well, the 9’s are incredibly comfortable with normal socks.I’d highly recommend these shoes.

A pretty good trial running shoe
Been trial running for nearly 45 years, so tried a fair number of shoes in that time. Also attempting to do the Munros and seem to be settling for Salomon and La Sportiva footwear, so thought I would give these a go. These are, for the money, very good value. Of all the trail shoes I have had, they are certainly up there. A Salomon running shoe with Gortex, at just over £60 in these times is a bit of a find. The right amount of cushioning, not too much so you can feel at one with the ground beneath you. Not too little your legs and hips are jarred. We are all different, but I pronate. I found these helped give neutral pronation without forcing my leg/foot too much. They are light, waterproof, good grip generally, particularly on mud with the Contragrip soles. As with some Salomon footwear, walking or running on wet slabby rock with the Contra"slip" soles can be like Bambi on ice, but if you are aware this is a foible of the sole you can factor this in. I would have given 5 stars all day long, but for the sole grip.

Great grip, comfort and waterproofness.
I love these shoes! They are so comfortable that I wear them instead of traditional trainers for long walks in cities and when refereeing football matches.

Falling apart after 300 miles in 6 months and now leaking
Comfortable but haven't lasted 6 months

Really good grip in all weather
Good sturdy shoe that has excellent grip. Well made and comfortable straight from the boxSuggest buying half a size bigger than normal as they are narrow fitting

Lacks durability
Liked these to begin with, look good, comfortable and feet stayed dry. However after 5 months of relatively light use the soles became detached. There is better out there in this price range.

These are great! I have worn Salomon’s for years now and these are my favorite. Light weight and waterproof!

Cheap materials
Flimsy material, not sized properly, and not delivered as promised.

Quality lacking
Bought them because I don't like the look of normal hiking shoes. These are nice and black and inconspicuous. They look good and walk fine, but the rubber on gets of in a few months and the sole does seems to come off. It is not a sturdy shoe

Grip auf nassen Untergrund
Der Salomon Leisten scheint von meinen Füssen gemacht worden zu sein. Reinschlüpfen und wohlfühlen.Den Schuh etwas grösser bestellen. In 42 2/3 sitzen meine 42er Füsse perfekt. Damit gleich richtig bestellt.
