These only hold up a pen when they feel like it. The hands aren't flat enough and aren't tall enough to hold anything reliably. But they are super cute and will still be used as desk buddies. Bummer they don't function as intended.

I love these little cats.They are the perfect little additions to my office cubicle and my students go nuts for them when they are brought to class to hold special items.They are a great size, the details make them even cuter and they are even footed to stand up and hold sturdy items.

It takes a few seconds to get a pen/pencil to balance, but they do hold standard writing utensils & other similar size/weight items. If anything, they’re just hilarious decor.

Bought 2 as gifts and 1 for me. I have them on my desk and they make me smile when I look at them. They can hold a pencil or pen. Not super fat pens. You may have to twist and adjust the pen to get it set right. They can balance on each other as well. I will have 2 on the bottom and put one upside down on their hands. They are fun to play with and just a joy to look at. Bring the sass!

Cute, plastic, light weight, molded animated cats. One cat can hold a standard size pen or pencil. Thicker heavier pens and mechanical pencils require more cats. Fun novelty item.
