I’ve tried so many natural deodorants, and there was always something slightly off, until I found Salt & Stone. This is the first one that truly checks every box for me. One of the biggest selling points is that it’s aluminum free, which was really important in my switch to a cleaner routine. The lasting power is honestly elite. I apply it in the morning and it’s still working well into the next day. The formula is also a standout. It goes on incredibly smooth, isn’t chalky at all and leaves zero residue on my skin or clothes. It is also very gentle on my skin. No skin irritation at all. I’ve tried several scents, but Saffron & Cedar is my absolute favorite. It’s a beautiful, elevated scent that reminds me so much of Baccarat Rouge, one of my favorite perfumes. I highly recommend this deodorant if you’ve struggled to find a natural option that actually works.

This deodorant has a really nice scent that doesn’t overwhelm—subtle, fresh, and easy to wear every day. It strikes a great balance with the neroli and basil without being too strong. Performance-wise, it’s very effective and lasts a long time. It holds up well throughout the day and keeps odor under control better than many natural deodorants I’ve tried. I also appreciate the ingredient profile—aluminum-free with things like seaweed extracts, niacinamide, and prebiotics, which makes it feel like a safer, skin-friendly option. Overall, a high-quality deodorant with a great scent, solid performance, and clean ingredients.

I’ve been using this Salt & Stone Bergamot & Hinoki deodorant, and I’ll be honest—it surprised me in a good way. The scent is fresh, clean, and slightly woodsy without being overpowering. It feels more like a light fragrance than a typical natural deodorant. What I really like is that it’s aluminum-free but still holds up pretty well throughout the day. It doesn’t completely stop sweat (no natural deodorant really does), but it keeps odor in check, which is what matters most to me. Also, it doesn’t irritate my skin. The texture goes on smooth, none-sticky, and doesn’t leave that heavy residue some natural formulas do. If you’re trying to switch to a cleaner option but don’t want to smell like baking soda and hope, this is a solid choice.

It does it's job and I tried it out for 48 hrs and it did prevent odors. Low activity level those days but it did hold up. However, reading the reviews I had high expectations for the santal vetiver scent and ended up ordering it. That's the only thing I do not like about this deodorant. The smell. It's okayyyyyy but not my favorite or pleasant to my nose in any way. I do like how it feels, the ingredients, that's it's small company owned, it works well for what it's supposed to do and it's easy to apply. I just wish I would've ordered another smell. Because it's expensive enough that I won't be replacing it until it's completely gone. So maybe I'll learn to love the smell but so far, nope not at all lol

This was my first time using this brand and I used it faithfully for about 9 months. I've been using more natural and aluminum-free deodorants for several years now. I have sensitive underarms so I stay away from "clinical strength" or a lot of chemicals. I've tried both ladies' and men's brands (I'm a woman) and they only seem to work for a little while before they completely stop working and I have to switch to something new (or back to an old one). I decided to give this one a try after seeing it pop up on Amazon a lot and also because the one I was using isn't sold in stores and would sometimes take a week or more to get to me. My first impression of this deodorant was that I like the compact, round packaging and how easy it is to use (the bottom twists very smoothly). Secondly, IT SMELLS AMAZING. Black rose and Oud is such a delicious scent - lightly floral, sweet, a little powdery, and a little musky. Every time I applied it, I kept falling more in love with the scent. And it also applied to my underarms very smoothly and without any pulling or roughness. It's worth noting that I started using this deodorant during a heat wave; we had about three weeks of temperatures between 90-100 degrees F with 75-95% humidity. Surprise surprise, this deodorant held up! Mind you, it's deodorant and not antiperspirant, so, yes, I did sweat, but, no, I did not smell. I applied it once a day (or the night before) and had no issues. This deodorant also held up exceptionally when I was exercising and it did not leave me smelling bad at all after workouts. Now, where this deodorant DID NOT HOLD UP is when it came to hormone changes and (emotional) stress. Whenever that time of the month came around, the deodorant significantly weakened and I had to apply it again during the day. For me, that's actually normal and I pretty much have that happen with any deodorant. It's performance during stress was pretty terrible though. I went through a few months of intense mental/emotional stress and this deodorant completely failed me. The second I got anxious or stressed out, my armpits would start to pool and turn into a swampy mess and I would immediately smell terrible. Not once did the deodorant hold up to my stress sweat or funk, which was very disappointing since I liked it very much outside of that one issue. I ended up just throwing it away (since I wasn't sure when the stress would stop) and going back to my previous deodorant that worked wonderfully, now sells on Amazon, and I highly recommend: Kosas! It is pricey like this one, but the main selling point for me is that it contains AHA and BHAs that stop the funk and also brighten (and keep bright) the underarm area. It also neutralizes razor burn.

This deodorant blends well with my soap and cologne to give me a strong base for the signature smell I’m going for, lasting all day. My underarms do not feel any stickiness or extra residue with only a couple of swipes under each arm. I have sensitive skin but this is light weight keeping my underarms dry throughout the day with no skin irritation like I get with deodorants with aluminum. The cost may be intimidating but if you do not over use it, it lasts and is worth the price.

I was extremely hesitant to get one due to hefty price point, but after going through 3 refills I can wholeheartedly recommend this one. It doesn't give me bicarb rashes (given applied to DRY skin) Smells very subtle but long time and keeps odours away while allowing perspiration. It is pricey but well worth the money. One application in the morning makes the stick last 45-50 days on average.

Very effective is eco friendly doesn’t burn if I apply straight after shaved. Very easy apply and the fresh smell is wonderful all day long. Is slightly pricey but you get quality product.

Overrated. The stick is a very dry texture, does not glide smoothly on skin. Not particularly good it’s core function to stop odor It came in a big round stick, while reducing the packaging it becomes also very heavy
