It's time to start growing my seedlings for my garden, and was hoping someone would come up with a tray set that was much easier to get out the seedlings and soil as well as a lot more sturdy so that the plastic trays wouldn't crack or break trying to get them out.This Seed starter tray does all of that. It also is a lot firmer and the clear plastic top seals much better to keep bugs out.I also added a light kit you can see in these pictures, so I can grow my seedlings indoor.This Seed starter tray kit has been the best I have come across so far.Now, I just have to be patient and wait to see the results.I also have placed to black tray (one of them) I have to show the differences. By far, the kits with the white trays are much sturdier, seal better and I forget to mention the new trays also have an added feature on the trays. The bottoms are rubber so you can easily push out your seedlings and not worry about the trays cracking/splitting on the bottoms. It also comes with tools and heart shaped signs you can write what you are growing in your trays instead of masking tape (what I use to use). There were so many signs I was even able to use one in my old black seedling tray.I'm very impressed with this new Seed starter tray kit.

My children and I have planted a garden each year for the past few years. The first couple of years we had trouble getting the seeds to grow. These trays are perfect because we don't have to take our trays in and out of the garage daily. One year the trays were left outside during a frost. I like the silicone at the bottom and the grow lights. The lights spin to cover or open the holes in the top. I noticed some seeds grow better in a enclosed greenhouse environment. This set helps to provide that environment. I usually end up buying plants from the nursery when our seeds don't sprout. This product is a lifesaver. I appreciate the gardening tools and sticks to label that came in this set. This was a very useful and fun purchase. My children enjoyed planting our seeds and are watching them daily. I definitely recommend these trays for less stress and happy gardening.*UPDATEWe had sprouts in just a week.

Fantastic product for starting seeds indoors for later spring planting. Every February I start our seeds in a seed tray for our summer veggies & flowers. With Rarello's Seed Starter Trays, they are built to reuse again and again. This is because the bottom of each seed 'pod' is made of durable, pliable soft rubber. When it is time to transplant the seedlings, you can pop the seedlings out, pressing gently on the rubber bottom, thus allowing the seedling/soil/root system to eject in one piece. The trays are durable, with holes for draining water, a pan to catch the water, and a clear, plastic cover for each tray with a moveable dial for letting more or less air into the little greenhouses/trays. On cold, but sunny days - you can keep the cover on, with the dial closed so that cold air stays out and yet the sun can create warmth while providing what plants need most to grow - sunshine (photosynthesis). Each tray has 12 little pods and in the 3-pack, that means 36 seeds can be planted. A wonderful, quality seed starter.

I start my special seeds in seedling trays before I move them over to my hydroponic system. I have always hated the hassle of getting them out of the trays. These new trays are Ah-mazing! I love the silicone bottoms that are flexible allowing you to be able to push the plant out easily. The additional little tools and markers are all just a bonus. The lids work great and I understand why they are made lightweight but I would love to see a sturdier lid in newer versions. This in no way will stop me from buying more of these in the future as needs arise though. The design is everything!

Long time gardener (40+ yrs). I really like this seed starter kit. I don't plant a huge garden so works well for my needs. Love the seed tray with the rubber bottom. Makes it super easy to push the plants/ pods out to transplant. Cleans up well after removing the starter soil. Lights work great with multicolors & having a Type C plug in for the lights makes a good connection. I did add a timer to control lights. 3 trays set just right on a 10" x 20" heat mat. One of the domes had a crack mid way up on a corner but used clear packing tape to cover it. Reason for 4 stars. Had ordered a simular type but not as good. So I ordered a second set of these. Have recommend these to another newbie gardener.

These are just the right size for my needs and I like that the base has a flexible plastic (silicone?) so these should be a lot more reusable.

This is a very nice seedling starter tray for anyone, the beginner and the serious grower. The nice thick plastic definitely makes it stand out above your ordinary throw-away type tray. Innovative features like the silicone bottoms to pop out the seedlings, the adjustable vent ports, and the high temperature resistance made me really feel this a high quality tray. Everything you need to give your plants a healthy start is all there.

out of the 60 seed pods, 8 seeds germinated, Bad odds, my old way I used square containers and covered them with plastic wrap, I'm getting 90% germination rate
