Works Well With Upholstery and Leather
I switched to a 135-16-24 needle for leather and 135-17-24 for upholstery and it runs out well. I’m running a Consew 226R which is the smaller bobbin, but I just reload a bit more often. I personally like the look of thick hand sewn on my leather but it makes for a slow project. This thread seems to work well at a good cost and it seems to be plenty strong and durable for my jobs. They offer some very nice colors as well. Thanks

Great thread
I love Selric threads. Very strong. Great colors. I use them with both my SailRite and Chinese leather shoe patcher (CLSP) sewing machines.

Wanted to love it….. but I don’t.
This is a very nice color! Sews ok, with some fraying, but not terrible. The problem is knots. When I back stitch, the stitches are loose, so I tried hand tying. This will not stay in a knot, and it will not melt together either. Using on leather bags using a Cobra class 26 with a size 21 needle. I’ve used this same combination with other brands of thread and it works great. I like the color of this thread and wanted to use it on my project. I’m using glue to hold the knots I have already done, and switching to a different thread to finish my project. This spool is going in the trash. 😢

Correct size needle? Topstiching leather.
I love the final stitch but not easy to use, bobbins unravel. I'm new and cannot find the information on the needles recommend

Strong thread
Works well on my industrial sewing machine. Strong thread for heavier applications. Be sure to use a needle large enough to prevent any shredding of the thread while sewing. Color is consistent.

Tying off is very difficult with this thread
I make all sorts of leathers goods and when tying off the ends of the thread, I tie the threads and then melt the ends. This is my first time using this brand since I couldn't find the brand I had before. I will NOT buy from them again. These threads do not melt into each other, they just melt through and break. I have had to re-do multiple projects because of this issue.
