Pricey but does the job well; especially useful for stripping small diameter, multi-strand cables where you'd likely damage the conductor if you stripped with pliers

I had a different version of this tool that was just a single function sheath stripper but I lost it, this replacement is a big step up.This tool cuts sheath nicly and I have used it on 2 & 4 core fp 200 cable and mains flex it really dose work well.I even used the side mounted inner core strippers and found them very impressive I only got my cutter out to trim length and put on screen sheath every other cable dressing job I did with this tool.Only things I have not used is the retractable blade and the sheath splitter that you run down the cable.I have the round cable version I can not comment on the flat t&e version.

A bit pricey for what it is but makes life 100 times easier stripping fire alarm cable

It is a great tool for any sparky,mainly if you do DB's or panels it will make the stripping of the cables much easier then using a cutter!I have used my one for a couple of months now and still works apart from the fact that the tip of the tiny blade which cuts the cable inside the tool is not as it was at the beginning,because I believe that a tiny bit of the tip broke off.All in all great little tool and if it would be a bit cheaper I would say it is a must have!

I bought this product to strip FP cable with the foil inner which is really hard to strip just use the round blade to ring the cable and place the cable and then feed the cable through the angled hole then pull down to cut through the outer insulation without cutting the cores. This is much safer than the the jokari stripper with the wheel on the bottom. This also is great for all sizes of flex as shown.

I don’t know how I ever managed without this brilliant piece of kit. I am a self employed sparky working in the transportable building industry which means I mainly use flexible cable. Makes stripping the outer sheath off the cable a doddle. Brilliant for confined access ie consumer units, junction boxes etc.

Seems like a good product.I had to return it as I work with fibre optic cable and it was not useful for this.

Nach langen überlegen habe ich (Elektriker) das Jokari gekauft. Nachdem ich ein paar mal damit gearbeitet habe muss ich mich selber Fragen warum ich mir das nicht früher schon gekauft habe, ist wirklich super praktisch.Was kann es:-Leitungsmantel einschneiden so das man den abziehen kann, bis 5 x 2,5 NYY kein Problem, dickere Leitung habe ich noch nicht getestet. Aber auch Abmanteln von Leitung in der Dose geht super.-Leitung einschlitzen, geht auch gut ohne die Adern zu beschädigen.-Adern abmanteln geht auch gut.-Das kleine Messer finde ich super um damit u.a. Schlauch zu schneiden.Alles in allem ein super Werkzeug. Früher hatte ich Messer, Abisolierzange in der Tasche. Aber mit dem Jokari geht es schneller und einfacher. Also kann ich nur empfehlen.Einziger kleiner Nachteil, das Messer hat einen kleinen Hebel um des zu schließen, z.B. wenn man es in die Tasche steckt. Da wäre vielleicht ein Magnet besser, da der Hebel klein und mit Handschuhen etwas fummelig ist.
