Amazon Basics Modern Wall Mount Sconce Fixture With Light Bulb And Glass Shade - 16 x 8 x 10 Inches, Black

We recently remodeled a very old bathroom which had a ghastly old light fixture. We chose this one due to the high Amazon ratings and the reasonable price. I am thrill with how it came out. The install was simple, the amount of light it sheds is perfect (we have it on a dimmable switch for use as a nightlight, as well), and the look is exactly what I was going for! We're moving on to 3 more bath renovations, and this will be my go-to for 2 of the 3. You will not be disappointed with this purchase! The only issue I have with this light is that the bulbs we purchased flicker. We bought those from Brightown as an Amazon Choice item, and when I contacted Brightown I was told the edison style bulb I purchased (a multipack) was not compatible with a "Luttron" brand dimmer switch. Since Luttron is a major supplier of switches, Brightown should be advising buyers of this fact.

This is a really beautiful product. I live in a house built in the 60s that has sconce lighting in every room, and they all look very dated. I’ve been slowly trying to update them with more modern lighting, and I was excited to find this, as it doesn’t look like it belongs outdoors like so many sconce/wall lights do. Installation was easy and the light looks classy and modern. If they made this in a larger size, I would buy lots more. My only apprehension is about dusting the top of the glass, which I’m sure will need to be done several times a year — I’ve got mine installed up high so that could be challenging. Overall a great product at a bargain!

Great, and perfect lights. I bought eight of these last year for a design project and just bought two additional for another home design project. Dark color and silver are both stunning. Can't go wrong for the price!

Firstly - this is NOT black. It is a very dark gunmetal gray with a semi-gloss finish, not matte. The overall look is great and it’s solid quality. However, upon carefully removing the safety sticker, much of the finish peeled off with it. Customer service was friendly and helpful and offered to either replace it, or give us a $17 discount. We took the discount, and then disassembled the light and sprayed the metal matte black. Now it’s exactly what we wanted, after a little elbow grease and time.

These fixtures are amazing! They seriously make our bathroom. The size is perfect, they are much larger than the pictures portray. No one believes me when I tell them I got them for so cheap.

I love the style of the light but, as another reviewer said, they are NOT black. Its more of a gray that matches my stainless steal appliances. Its too late for me to send them back so I will be spray painting them black. Overall, great light for the money. They are HUGE but will fit perfect in our kitchen. The glass is thick and sturdy and it was packaged really well.

For the price this is great! I got it for over my sink it’s not too big or too small! Perfect!

Looks beautiful! Love it. Had to hire an electrician to install it since I have zero knowledge on this. I love the style, matches my kitchen decor nicely
