Perfect for hooking up to a TV, with a few minor knocks
Works perfectly, deck fits nicely inside and the cable reaches easily. Excellent value and looks neat and tidy by my TV. Easy to use; just plug in an HDMI cable, plug in a power supply (or not if you enjoy running out of battery), and off to the races. It's pretty lightweight so avoid heavy or thick cables if possible. Only minor things to note before buying are: It doesn't come with a power supply or HDMI cable of any kind, so you will need your own and with at least 15W output through USB C. If you set your deck to 4k output - even if the game can run at a stable fps it will lose signal randomly, not that you will be able to run much at 4k on a deck, but still. Just stick to 1440p or 1080p or 720p for games. Desktop and Steam UI are not affected though.

Excellent little shaped hub. Basic and cheap.
The Ugreen Deck Dock is essentially a USB-C hub with a hook shaped frame and soem rubber pads. That being said, it does it's job flawlessly with enough connections to cover the majority of use cases and is small and light enough to travel with. If you've bought a Deck, you've probably got a little foam carrying pouch that doesn't seem to fit anything. It fits this, which is awesome as the edges aren't rounded and that prevents any unwated travelling mishaps. Nice and cheap, and as it's a USB-C splitter, it works with more than just the Steamdeck. I used it in place of a Microsoft Surface Hub, because that's one of the worst pieces of hardware I've ever come across, and this is drastically better for a fraction of the size, weight and price. Definitely recommend if you've got a Deck, it's not flooded with luxuries like the pricey ones, nor does it have the firmware updates of Steam's own dock, but for the £12 or so I paid for it, it's perfect.

Worked fine for 5 months, now connectivity problems
Updated - Identified cause of the issue, the charging cable is not secure where it exits the rear of the body of the stand. Significant amount of play in it where it joins the housing, and from testing seems that it's either making poor connection or no connection at all within the body of the unit unless held firmly to the right side. Poorly made, lucky I got it on a deal price so rather than have to send it back to China for inspection (as Amazon refer you directly to Ugreen for warranty after the 30 day return period) I'll just bin it and go buy something better. Initially fine, did what it needed to. However the right angled USB cable which connects to the Steam Deck itself no longer makes connection unless wiggled, unplugged, wiggled again, unplugged again over and over until finally getting lucky and it's recognised by the deck and charges. Dock is powered with the official charger provided by Valve, which if plugged directly into the deck works perfectly instantly, and no problem with any data transfer to/from USB-C memory sticks, external drives etc. Problems ONLY occur when trying to use this thing.

Best budget ROG/Steam Dock
As the title says, best budget dock for the price. All the ports you need. Is a bit wobbly with the asus ally in the dock, but you can prop it up slightly with a spare/old debit card in place to hold it. Would prob fit the steam deck better (dont know dont have one) but for thr asus rog ally its fine. the only downside i have come across is the actual usb c connector. It works fine in normal use. But sustained usaged. i.e. copying 150gb games on or off the main drive, the usbc connector seems to time out?? it will work again straight away but if your copying 150gb across thats 30 mins wasted and you have to start again. have got around this issue by using a usb c to a adapter with my external drive instead with no issue's. Could be a faulty port but cant be bothered to send back just wont use it in future. apart from that 1gb ethernet works fine video out works great. unable to test if 4k output works as i have it plugged into my workstation setup and i only have 1080p monitors. will test 4k on the tv downstairs at some point. at 30quid its still a bargain. well done ugreen. 4 stars

Excellent IO offering, nice and tidy
This awesome little dock does everything I need to turn my Asus ROG Ally into a fully-fledged living room entertainment centre! The ports offering is ample enough to provide everything you'd need to add an external display, high-speed networking, power delivery charging, USB peripherals and even an external hard drive. The unit melts away into the background when in use and fits nicely in our TV unit next to the Xbox, blending in well with the surrounding tech. Nothing looks out of place. Well worth the price!

Works perfectly with the ROG Ally
I got this at the same time as the ally, It works perfectly. I can charge at the max speed which is about 65W and transfer files at about 400MBps (max of my external drive) and also have gigabit ethernet and if you want, an external display too. All at the same time! I know that is the point, but it is impressive that nothing slows down too much. The small size of this means it fits in my case and also doesn't block any vents on the ally so it doesn't get too hot. The usb c cable is also a 90 degree cable so it doesn't stick out the top which is nice.

Very solid, feels premium, works perfectly
Does exactly what it claims to do. It's heavy which means it sits still when you've got all the cables coming from it and the steam deck sat on it. The HDMI output works well, I can do 4k60 or 1080p120 The cable is the right length for connecting it to the USB-C port. My steam deck doesn't have a case on it so can't comment on the length when a case is present.

Quality Low
The unit is nicely designed and feels compact/weighty. I'm writing this after a year of purchase, the unit effectively died on me. The cable for the USB > Steam Deck power looks to be faulty and must be poorly secured. I dropped a FRNSI USB power meter on the port and can see if I gently wiggle the cable it flip flops on and off. Unit had been used with great care so high concerns about its robustness.

Unique application!
This dock was designed specifically for the Steam Deck and is advertised as such as indicated in it's description. However, it can be used with many tablets. I had heard via the web that this was possible so I decided to give it a try. AT the time of purchase I was using an older(slower) 7" tablet as a separate streaming device running Android. I couldn't have been happier. Once I got a suitable USB splitter cable to divide the power and audio I was in business. This dock is simple and has just the right amount of connectivity options. The ones I wanted and needed. I was going to connect a wireless mouse and at times a keyboard to aid in navigation and input. Since the tablet tray is wider than most tablets, I had to fashion a piece of hard foam to help support the back of the tablet providing a good viewing angle and stability. The foam worked for me, but wood, or plastic material - cut to size - should work as well. In fact, a couple wood shims glued together would work equally as well. When I replaced the smaller 7" Android device with a newer one with a larger form-factor and screen (11"), I wondered if the dock's hardwired USB-C connecting cable would reach the new tablet cleanly. It did - perfectly. It worked fine since the tablet I was using had the USB-C post in the side and the secondary device is in landscape positioning. All but uber larger tablets should work. YMMV. I did have to purchase a different USB splitter cable that would work with both the new tablet as well as route audio from the dock to a 3.5mm(1/8"). Now all is connected up and working great. Just as I wanted it to do. :) If you need or want this unique functionality, this is a true value deal. Would purchase again.

Affordable Dock with Essentials
Works well as a dock. Fits steamdeck with Jsaux case but case stand needs to be fully extended for steamdeck to rest comfortably on stand.

Good for Steam Deck, not suitable for Lenovo Legion Go
The myriad of ports makes this a great dock for the Steam Deck as advertised. I have the JSAUX dock and prefer this one due to the extra USB-C port, which is great for connecting an external SSD for expanded game storage. The quality is also better than the JSAUX one, which has rough edges which you can feel when connecting cables. The USB-A port is great for connecting a keyboard. This dock will accommodate a Steam Deck without a mod case comfortably, and is a tight fit if you have a JSAUX mod case or similar. I have tried using this with my Lenovo Legion Go but it is not a good fit and the cable is too short to reach the Legion's USB4 port. No stars deducted for this issue since the dock isn't advertised for use with the Legion Go
