Homesick Scented Candle, Ohio

My mom gave me a Florida homesick candle in Christmas of 2016. I absolutely loved it - it reminded me of home and made me tear up from time to time. I purchased one for my friend's birthday this year - she's from Ohio - and it had the same effect on her. I don't know how they do it - but they manage to capture the very best scents of each state and cram them into a beautiful candle. My friend and I discovered that they smell infinitely more like home if burned outside or during a rainy day. 10/10 would DEFINITELY purchase again.

I got the Ohio candle as a housewarming gift for a coworker from Ohio - and it was perfect! I've seen these in a boutique once and smelled every state the store had - and I have to say what I love about these candles is the scents are all somehow some sort of neutral smell that EVERYBODY likes. And that's not to say they're not strong - the scent is strong enough to fill a room, but they're never too sweet, or too musty, or too fruity. They're always just right. I don't remember what exactly the Ohio one smelled like - but everyone definitely loved it!

My fiancé is from Ohio he hadn’t/hasn’t been home in nearly half a decade so I got him this for our shared birthdays yesterday and he about teared up bc he said it smells exactly like his childhood... i now want to get one from every state eventually so that way I can always make sure everyone coming to my house can feel like they’re right back at home (that’s assuming they would all be from the United States....)

My mom has lived in a small town in Northeast Ohio for 30 years now and is moving in a month to Seattle for retirement. My oldest brother and I are staying in Ohio (him for work, me for school) and she is a terrible empty nester. I got her this candle as a Christmas gift before she moves in January so she can remember where we all built our lives together. I know she's going to love it. It smells great! The smell is so poignent that I can smell it through the box

I literally burn these every day all day while I work (li 4-8 hours daily). And each one still lasted at least 30 days. I was skeptical at first because $34 for a candle was pretty expensive but this is the third one I purchased because they’re just that great. The scent for both Kansas and Ohio are pretty on point. And they add the perfect essence to my office of something that ‘feels like me’ without too much decorative noise. Also the packaging is so nice that it too serves as a decoration.

The candle smelled excellent. My mom is an Ohio native and absolutely loved the candle. Only thing is the glass started to turn black when we burned the candle. This has never happened with any other brand of candles we have so I have to assume there was some issue with the glass. Didn’t effect the smell or burn time of the candle, just something to keep an eye out for.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my employer who’s from Ohio. He loved the gift! I did notice the candle is a bit smaller than expected and there was no lid, but the scent and the novelty made up for it.

I recently moved to Arkansas from Ohio and I have been feeling very homesick. I’ve heard about these candles and I’ve always wanted one of my own but I wasn’t about to spend $30 on a candle. But I finally did and I don’t regret it in the slightest. It’s not the scent I would usually go for but it reminds me of home in the springtime. Will definitely purchase again❤️

I really didn't know how "Ohio" was going to turn out ... but it ended up being a good scent and a strong one too. For the price I paid, I thought I got a good quality product.
