Candy AQUA LIFE Gummy Swedish Fish, 5 Lb

I'll slit this into Pros and Cons.Pros: The flavor is great. There's even two flavors you can't get even with the assorted Swedish Fish. Blue Raspberry, and Grape. They taste great, and I wish I could get them included with the Assorted fish. It's interesting to see the different shapes they gave the fish too, adds some variety to the same old shape. The whole bag lasted me about 2 weeks. (Assorted lasted 1 week, I'll explain in the Cons)Cons: The consistency is way off. They are very chewy. Not like the chewy you usually get from Swedish fish, but more like chewing very sticky caramel. They stick to your teeth, and its really annoying, even if they do taste good. I've done a side by side comparison with the Assorted Fish, and the Aqua Life seem to be thinner, and the consistency is harder. The Assorted, and regular Red fish, while still a bit chewy and sticky, are much softer, and barely stick to your teeth. And because they are easier to bite, they seem to taste almost better. Also the non-Aqua Life dissolve faster just from being in your mouth, which I think is why they taste better, since the flavor spreads throughout your saliva. Personally, I don't think I'll be getting them again, the Assorted and regular are just much more enjoyable to eat.(this is why the Assorted 5lb bag lasted 1 week.) It's a shame really, I was hoping these would be really good.

I buy these candies in smaller bags at a local drugstore and love them. I bought the 5 lb bag as a surprise for my brother who loves Swedish fish and is using candy to break am addiction. I was surprised to find these gummies to be smaller than the ones sold in the store, but they tasted the same so I give them five stars. I feared buying online they might not be fresh but was pleasantly surprised.

Just kidding. Doesn't taste like seafood. But it DOES taste great. Of all the gummi-like candies I get, Swedish Fish candies have always had the most intense flavors. These do not disappoint. Wonderfully fruity, I ended up eating way too many of these. I'd like to get them again, but I honestly do not trust myself.

the candies were old as evidenced by the clear bag they were in no longer being clear and by the fact that the candies were no longer soft sand gummi but some were crumbly where the sugar had recrystalized - - too bad

We ordered this an another brand of gummies to fill goody bags for my son's birthday party. The biggest problem is that we had left overs and I can't stop eating them. Sooooooo good.

We purchased this for my daughter's third "under the sea" birthday party and they were not only cute, the starfish, seahorses, fish, but absolutely delicious! Great buy!

These aren't the same Swedish Fish. They're harder than expected and seems like a knock-off brand.

My son in law loves these. The package is huge with all different sizes and flavors.
