know what a great safety item this is
this is an excellent safety change over valve. Great price, and a very quick postal service,with tracking.i think it would be a good idea to let purchases/customers know, that it will be delivered by Royal Mail,as RM don't deliver to the specific area's where i needed the valve,being sent to. I have to use other delivery companies, luck has it I managed to retrieve it from site office

Its a clever idea but if you get a faulty one its a real pain.
Automatic Gas Bottle Change Over Valve Full Kit for Two Red Calor Propane LPG Bottles.Ok so mine was faulty which is rare but i need to let you know this as it caused us quite a headache until we sorted it.We had our unit fitted and tested everything seemed fine but we noticed over a 3 week period that our gas bottles weren't fully emptying and still had around 2-3 days of gas still in them that we couldn't use.The safety valve was kicking in and started pulling gas from a new tank before the 1st one was empty.Once it changed over it would no longer receive gas from a used cylinder and a full one would have to be used instead.We contacted the plumber and he suggested a couple of ideas but wouldn't be able to get out to us for a couple of weeks.During that time we had worked out that the change over value had been faulty and ordered 2 manual ones instead which where much more expensive but if one creates a fault the other should still work until we get it fixed meaning we still would have at least 1 working value and continue using the gas. Where as when the automatic one went faulty we had to do without gas until the new valves where fitted.So yes the auto feature is a bit of a time saver but when it goes wrong you might be in for a wait until a plumber can sort it for you and if it happens in the winter like ours did your without gas/heating for quite some time.

This is self explanatory as to what it does, but I have had it fitted, there was some sort of small valve missing but plumber sorted it. Working well

The gauge to show when the bottle is empty does not work so need to return it
