Dayton Audio UMM-6 USB Measurement Microphone

Works as expected.

I wanted a calibrated test microphone to do audio tests. This is reasonably priced and comes with downloadable calibration data that is accepted by most analyser software packages.

That's a good quality mic but not exactly for my needs. I've ordered another one with different specs. Thanks.

Sadly I cannot recommend this product or its manufacturer, the one I received was faulty. I tried to contact Dayton via their web portal and got no response, after much time wasted I was able to establish it was the mic that was broken and not my setup/pc. It had a high noise floor and interference, I got a refund and replaced it with the UMIK-1 which is far better.

Box was damaged, carry case was cracked and it barely picks up any sound. Absolutely did not pick up anything when trying to tune with Audison Bit Drive This is a dud and a very annoying waste of time trying to understand what was going on

Tenia mis dudas para comprarlo pero al final me decidi y funciona excelente. Lo utilizo con el DSP Helix la computadora lo detecto sin problemas y las mediciones que hace son bastante precisas. No es un microfono profesional pero si eres un aficionado te puede funcionar muy bien y te ahorras una lana.

Arrived used, scratches and warranty card filled out. Pathetic.

Excellent Calibration Mic. Worked perfectly for Dirac calibration. The one that comes with the receiver is garbage in comparison. I couldn't calibrate the system until I bought this.

Habe dieses Mikrofon zum Einmessen meines AVR mit Dirac verwendet und funktionierte einwandfrei. Das gleiche mit REW eingesetzt und bin mit den Ergebnissen sehr zufrieden

This was cheaper than the competitor Umik-1 so I went with this instead. No complaints, easy to get the calibration file and worked seamlessly with REW for doing measurements on my home theatre system.
