Excellent cable - can play indenfinitely. Power on the headset first and then plug in the cable.
Works great after troubleshooting with very helpful Kuject client support. Bought the 16ft white PD version and it lets me play indefinitely either standalone or PCLink if I power on the headset FIRST and then plug in the cable. If I plugged in the cable first and then turn on the headset, the battery drains to zero and then headset shuts off. I thought there was an issue with the cable and Kuject sent me a replacement, but it's the same behaviour even with a 65W laptop charger. Maybe it's a software thing, but easy to remember and can play for as long as you want using the stock Q2 charger. Battery will stay at around 75-80% to save battery health. Cable itself is a bit stiff and wish it was more flexible but works fine for seated play and not too much physical action. Will test this cable with Quest 3 when I get it - assume it will work the same if I use the stock Q3 charger.A++ for customer support, Kuject!

Maybe Mines just defective?
I followed the instructions on the package to the letter and made sure it was charging before plugging it into my pc. For some reason it kept saying the battery was at 100% which it certainly wasn't. Then the headset would just die. So it says it's charged. But it's not. I'm going to keep trying. But this doesn't seem to be the long time solution I was hoping it would be. (Edit. The people at kuject were incredibly helpful, and worked with me to send me a new cable that works exactly as described. I can only play on the lowest settings which I think is 72hz but honestly. It's increased my battery life 10 fold. I did 3 separate control tests. I ran vr chat for 1 hour and only lost 3% battery, I played bonelabs and it stayed at 82% without dropping after am hour, and half life alyx took me to 74% and held after an hour of game play and stayed at 74% for the other hour of the play test) this product does what it says it does, more or less. However. Because of the way the smart chip is designed, at least I hope so. Now my quest 2 won't charge if it's off and plugged in. If I took it off it's current wire arrangement and plugged it in elsewhere. It will be fine to charge as normal. But the only way to charge it currently is to power it on. Set the off timer for a few hours and leave it alone while plugged into this cable. Still amazing work from kuject

No PD, no 120hz for Q3
So this states it supports 120hz, and on the packaging it says do not use 120hz, only 90hz for play.Soooo.This does not support Q3 120hz, this is missold, beware!

WARNING QUEST 3 USERS
Let me start 1st by saying my star rating reflects as a Quest 3 user. If you are using a Quest 2 im sure this product will work as its supposed to.So i purchased this product because i figured, if the link cable i purchased from amazon was working for my quest 3 (which was used on my previous quest 2) why wouldn't this powered version not work? Man o man..So i followed instructions that are on the bag that your cables come in, when followed correctly (i assume) the headset light will go off when the smart chip is "activated". After that its plugging into your PC and its supposed to be recognized to go into link cable mode. All that kept happening was my PC trying to connect but it kept disconnecting. On off on off etc. After trying multiple ways of connecting i FINALLY manage to get it to link to my PC but notice its not charging the quest. The icon dose not show charging when you check in the menu. So i figure let me take out just the charger cable from the smart chip block and reconnect and boom. After reconnecting, my quest CRASHES and did not want to start up! No joke! At this point thinking it was bricked or the battery pooped out. Cause not even just the charging cable plugged in was not getting the system to go into a charging state or bring up a screen. NOTHING. Luckily after playing with the power button for awhile i manage to get it to turn back on! SENDING IT BACK! NEVER AGAIN!Stay away from this if you are looking into using for Quest 3. Not worth it! Not worth the trouble trying to get it to work cause you could end up completely messing up the headset!!
