Treating myself to new fabric cutting equipment, I chose this to give accuracy, a good width to anchor fabric and dual measurements. So far it has stepped up very well and I am pleased with purchase.

I was a little confused when I tried to use this as usually the squares represent inches with the cm indicators down the sides. The squares on this do not measure 1" but are 3/4". and I am used to working in full inches so it took me awhile to get used to. This is not a fault with the product and now that I am used to it I find it a very handy little piece of equipment. It is very sturdy and light weight. Not a bad price either

These rulers would be wonderful if all the lines were thin (like the fraction lines). Unfortunately, all the full inch line markings are really thick, which makes it impossible to measure with 100% accuracy. You are supposed to include the width of the line in your measuring, but this is difficult to do accurately and consistently because you can't actually see where your fabric edge is under the heavy line. I have no idea why they do this with the inch lines - the thin fraction lines are perfectly visible and much better for accuracy.This fractional inaccuracy won't matter for most things using large pieces, but if you want to measure very small quilt squares very accurately, these rulers make it very difficult.

Line markings are clear and it was great for measuring out squares. I needed to cut exactly the same amount from each corner of the projects I was working on and this was brilliant at keeping me lined up. I just wish I'd bought one sooner.

I use this regularly with my roller cutter and mat. It's nice and long for cutting larger pieces. I recently used it for cutting out fabric for making roman blinds and it was great with the gridlines to help keep it all square. I need a smaller one for smaller projects as it can be unwieldy for these but overall, happy with this. Only one thing is it might have been useful to have the numbers going in the opposite direction down other side, so I can measure from the left and from the right, but maybe that could prove confusing in some circumstances.

Superb ruler!This metric ruler is very well made and a nice size too. There is the option to choose between metric or imperial ruler. Sturdy clear acrylic material, with nicely visible lines and numbers. ( Delivery was also a day earlier than scheduled which was great!) Although this kind of rulers are always advertised as patchwork or quilting ruler, I don't use it for quilting but for all other arts & crafts with or without fabrics involved. Time will tell if the colouring on the numbers and lines stay put long-term without fading but for now I am very happy with my purchase from this seller ;-)

Great product, length good, nice and wide, sturdy enough to press down, centimetres what I preferred.(Would have been useful if had centimetres AND. Inches )
