Elegant functionality, even under low water pressure conditions.
I'm on a private spring supply, so was a bit apprehensive based on what I could see on the tech specification and Grohe's website whether I would have enough water pressure for the tap to operate properly. The flexi tap-tails are fairly long, with good reach to the plumbing under the sink, but they're also relatively narrow bore, so I've noticed a small reduction in flow. However, the effect is slight and the novel elegance, solid construction and quality finish - compared to the nasty old dripper that it replaced - more than compensate. What's more, Mrs D has given the tap her unreserved approval (that's more than I've never had), and that's what matters. The recommended back nut tap spanner to fasten the tap body tightly to the sink and the compression-fit converters for attaching the tap tails to 15 mm copper pipe were essential extras. Overall verdict: very pleased with this tap.

Excellent good quality tap.
Purchased to replace an old Ikea 'value' tap which always sprayed cold water everywhere, this one has a very neat flow for both hot and cold water. Chrome looks good quality and appears to be easy to clean.Standard single hole fitting, so it was a straight swap. But the brass retaining nut is M8 x 10mm thick so you may require a tube spanner to tighten it up.My sink was by no means a thin one but it still flexed a little, (always annoyed me with the old tap), so i made a simple bracket and supported the M8 stud coming out of the bottom of the tap, to the underside of the worktop.I Used a pair of "15mm Compression by 3/8" BSP Male Iron Thread European Flexible Tap Adapters (Pair)" to connect to the UK 15mm pipes.

Solid tap
Solid feeling tap which is what I wanted. Noticeable upgrade from our previous tap which was a bit wobbly and feels like this will last

Looks nice, works well
We bought this tap for our kitchen sink as the old one was old and leaking. We got it replaced by this tap which operates very smoothly and is very convenient for cleaning dishes etc. The pressure on the hot side is lower than we would have liked but as ours is a gravity fed system, it is expected. But it looks nice and matches well with our filter water tap.

Nice looking chrome tap
Have been using this tap for 4 months now and very pleased with the quality and ease of operation.Looks expensive .I like the way the the water comes out airated from the spout and when turned off there is no dripping.

Once sorted its a good looking tap that works well
Some fitting issues. You need to get adapters. Once sorted its a good looking tap that works well. Just a shame it doesn't come with all the bits you actually need.

it's a nice tap: good looking
This model (31 369) is apparently intended only for pressurised systems and is not suitable for gravity fed ones. This is nowhere stated in the Amazon posting and you only find out after you have installed it. The pressure in our gravity fed system is 0.4 bar - i.e. the header tank is 4 metres above the tap. I'm getting a flow rate of 3 litres per minute. The tap is on a sink in the utility room we use for washing clothes etc and filling buckets to wash the car. The flow rate is painfully slow - it takes 5 minutes to fill a bucket. This model doesn't seem to be made by Grohe any more. There's nothing on their web site relating to this model number or any taps called Start Edge. Apart from that, it's a nice tap: good looking, well made and a nice action on the on/off/temperature lever.

German Engineering At Its Best!
A good solid tap. Very smooth lever and easy to install. All of this from a brand that has international recognition. I have a gravity fed hot water system, so I was a bit worried about the hot water flow. I took a gamble and it paid off! The hot water flow is not as powerful as the cold water, but it is good enough to wash the dishes. All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The price of the item was also a bonus. Local tap suppliers were selling the same tap for double the price!
