Bald Eagle Shaver

Although the product works as described, I have to give it a poor rating due to their customer service. I've had the skull shaver for a month and all of the sudden it stopped working. I reached out to the seller to report it and see what they can offer as resolution. Their response was very simple and short stating that they expect 1% of their products to be defective. They did not offer any resolution.

It doesn't get as close as I was hoping. I am on chemo therapy. Not all of my hair has fallen out. But a lot has so I shaved it. And iwas using a throw away razor every few days to avoid people seeing the bald patches. I bought this thing it would save time and pain. Wrong. It takes 3time's as long. And it feels like it's pulling the hairs. Like when you use a razor against the grain. I think my boys were dull when it arrived. I thought about buying a new head to seeif that helps but I've already invested so much $ and it doesn't do what it said.

So it was working great for the first four shaves... then I plugged it in to the charger. My wife and I were watching tv when we heard a noise from the bathroom and the razor was randomly turned on.. by itself.. and when I pressed the button to turn it off, it wouldn’t turn off, and it said the battery was completely dead. Now that I finally have the thing off by hitting it, it won’t turn back on at all, and it won’t charge at all either. Terrible and I’m VERY disappointed

This shaver is awesome. It's very easy to use and provides you with a very close shave. Only issue I had, was that the battery stopped charging. Contacted company and had a replacement battery shipped to me within about a week. Now the battery and shaver work perfectly. I highly recomment this product.

I have found that multi-passes (homage to the Fifth Element) are a necessity. Shaving with a blade requires multiple passes and re-lathering, carries the risk of blood loss, and skin irritation. While the Bald Eagle also requires a lot of back and forth there has been neither loss of blood n or skin irritation. Faster, cleaner cutting may happen with time and that would add the fifth star.

Great shaver at a great price. Easy to clean. Charges in less than 2.5 hours. The only way to get a closer shave would be to use a straight razor and I don't know too many people who want the hassle and time involved. Buy this and you'll be very pleased.

Update - still a terrible razor. I threw it away and took a chance on their Pitbull Gold which is a damn fine razor, get that one instead!Original - I had been using the original Skull Shaver Smart for many years with wonderful results. It would give a quick close shave, with little effort. I had no quelms of replacing it with the Smart X when my original finally stopped working, but the new shaver is a dissappointment. I must repeatedly shave the same spot over and over. It takes at least three to four times longer to shave with the Smart X than the original Smart. I have no idea why, it uses the same heads and I have changed out the one it came with to one I had used satisfactorily, but it still barely shaves. I had higher hopes.

Finally!!!!!!!! After all these years of buying razors an replacement cartridges, a shaver for us who likes a clean shaven look! I'm very happy with this product! Update 2/23/18, experimentation is the best method to get the best shave. For me, my hair is rather coarse, so a wet soapy or gel shave works best for me! Where have u been all my life...well at least since 92 lol.
