a high-end, versatile speaker for spatial audio and immersive sound
The Sonos Era 300 has emerged as a top contender in the wireless speaker space, particularly for users who prioritize a well-rounded, high-fidelity audio experience with immersive spatial sound capabilities. Key Features and Design Spatial Audio Support: The Era 300 is optimized for spatial audio, supporting Dolby Atmos, which creates a 3D sound experience. It has a unique hourglass shape that’s not just aesthetic but also functional, helping disperse sound in multiple directions for an immersive effect. Speaker Configuration: Inside, it packs a six-driver array, including four tweeters and two woofers, allowing it to project sound not just horizontally but also upward, enhancing the depth and fullness of the listening experience. The sound quality is especially good with music produced in Dolby Atmos, which maximizes its spatial capabilities. Connectivity Options: Sonos has added versatility to the Era 300 with Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, a welcome improvement over previous Sonos speakers that were limited to Wi-Fi. This makes it easier to connect various devices and use the speaker in different scenarios. Voice Assistant Compatibility: The Era 300 supports Alexa and Sonos Voice Control (but not Google Assistant), which makes it convenient for hands-free operation. The voice pickup works well, even in louder environments, due to its built-in far-field microphones. Sustainability and Design Updates: The Era 300’s design is more eco-friendly, using recycled materials and being partially disassemblable, which supports easier repairability. The physical buttons on top, including a handy volume slider, make it user-friendly and a bit more tactile compared to the fully touch-controlled previous models. Sound Performance The Era 300 shines in terms of audio fidelity, especially for its size. Its soundstage is wide and detailed, with impressive clarity in highs, balanced mids, and deep bass that doesn’t overwhelm. The spatial audio support takes tracks that are mixed in Dolby Atmos to a new level, giving a “live performance” feel with a strong sense of directionality and space. Music Playback: The Era 300 performs well across genres, but it’s especially suited to high-quality recordings that benefit from its spatial audio capabilities. Home Theater: Paired with a Sonos Arc or Beam Gen 2 soundbar, it enhances surround sound setups, creating an immersive, cinema-like experience at home. Vocals and Instruments: Vocals come through with strong presence, while instruments maintain separation and clarity, preventing any one part of the mix from sounding muddy or overpowered. Pros: Exceptional spatial audio for immersive, room-filling sound. Versatile connectivity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and optional line-in via USB-C. Sleek, modern design that fits well in various interiors. Enhanced Sonos ecosystem compatibility, making it ideal for multi-room audio setups. Improved sustainability with recycled materials and repair-friendly design. Cons: High price point may make it a less accessible option for casual listeners. Lacks Google Assistant support, which limits voice assistant options. Dolby Atmos audio quality is heavily dependent on compatible sources, so standard stereo tracks may not make full use of its spatial features.

A worthy upgrade to the Era300
Having used Sonos for a fair few years now with the first generation speakers including the 5s, 1s, soundbar, and subs I can safely say that these era 300s are the worthiest upgrade from these. Firstly these speakers are expensive. At over £400 a pop they’re not exactly cheap, especially when you’re looking to pair two together/ have them as surround sound speakers. The value is in the quality of the image quality. Having said earlier about the previous generation, these new era 300s are worth the hype. They produce huge levels, with amazing clarity at whatever level of sound. The bass is also hugely impressive. For a speaker of its size I am amazed about the bass they produce. It’s something that you expect on a £400 speaker but the size amazes me how it works to produce such impeccable bass. I love the design of the speaker. I know from reviews that some people are not big fans. I think it’s different from the norm. A true Scandinavian design influence. This design is obviously to create the Spatial Audio. This feature is fantastic once you find some songs to use it with and get fully immersed. I’m in the privileged position of having two, which I feel is needed to get the most of this feature. One pain is that it WONT fully connect to the SONOS Ray soundbar. This is frustrating it still works with them however not as a full cinema system. To get the full cinema system with the Ray you need to get the Era 100s which I didn’t know when purchasing the Era300… Another bug bare is that of the unavailability to use the new Sonos SW with the old, I feel this is a slight oversight from Sonos, where they could have all integrated well into the new app. Overall I think I can say hand on heart this is one of the best home speakers you can buy. It’s an experience but worthy option, I would honestly say having one of these beauties is better than the 3 ikea Sonos speakers you can get for the same money. A genuinely award winning product.

A Recovering Bose User’s Verdict: The Sound is Worth the Struggle
I have been a loyal Bose user for years, sticking with their ecosystem because I loved the warm sound profile and reliability. However, six months ago, I decided to finally take the plunge into Sonos with the Era 300, and it has been an eye-opening experience. As my first Sonos device, the difference in audio performance was immediately noticeable. While my old Bose speakers were great, the Era 300 is in a completely different league regarding soundstage and immersion. The way this speaker projects audio is phenomenal; it doesn't just push sound at you, it fills the entire room in a way I hadn't experienced before. The clarity in the vocals and the separation of instruments—especially with spatial audio tracks—is stunning. I am already so sold on the audio quality that I am planning to buy another one to create a stereo pair, and eventually a Sub to build a full home cinema setup. However, the reviews were right about the software. Coming from Bose, I found the Sonos app to be a significant step down in usability. It feels clunky, sometimes lags when grouping or changing volume, and just isn't as intuitive as it should be for a premium product. It definitely "could be doing with improving," as it currently feels like the weak link in an otherwise perfect chain. Despite the app frustrations, the hardware wins. The sonic upgrade from my previous setup is so drastic that I’m willing to put up with the software quirks. If you care about sound quality above all else, this is the best move you can make.

An amazing speaker but Mine was used on arrival
The quality of this Sonos product is amazing, it’s Stylish and will fit in anywhere. Even blend in when needed. It’s so easy to set up, Most people should be up and running within 10 minutes or so. I’ve tested many types of music, I’m a massive music lover, and I’ve had many speakers over the years. This one is just different. The left and the right stereo separation, is the best separation that I’ve heard from one standalone speaker. The highs are balanced without becoming Harsh even at higher listening volumes, The base is well defined and will Satisfy most people. For me, it was the mid range, vocals were sharp and Never became Hazley or unfocused. Overall, the sound was a Pleasure to listen too. Connectivity is so freeing with this speaker. WiFi, which allows features like Apple AirPlay, Alexa and Sonos App control. There is also a USB type C Connector at the back of the speaker, This can be use to connect a turn table or a ethernet Cable. Keep in mind that these adapters are so separately. I would totally recommend this speaker, You probably won’t regret it! Note I received a used item, when I purchased a new. Amazon has been okay about this. And they did do a Partial refund. It wasn’t a big amount. But I’m busy, so I just took it as there was nothing wrong with my unit. I would like to have been maybe treated a bit better but This experience doesn’t affect my review on this speaker.

Great sounding speaker with plenty of base, without being boomy
Sound and performance of the speaker has been excellent. Couldn’t get the speaker added to my Sonos system initially due to issues with the new Sonos app. Also noticed that the speaker dimensions on the Sonos site and other sites were incorrect with height and depth measurements mixed up. Reported that when chatting with Sonos support about the app issues. There have been some grumbles about the new app. New updates/releases seem to be gradually resolving these app issues but there are still some annoyed Sonos users hanging around in forums. No network port - have to buy an adapter for this and line in. This adapter plugs in via USB-C port on the back. Speaker does include microphone which you can use with Alexa. I’ve disabled the microphone with the built in physical switch. Volume control etc is via touch sensitive controls on the speaker which I don’t find to be as good as physical buttons to operate. You have to be looking at the speaker and press the correct location to avoid muting etc accidentally. So no reaching out blindly to the speaker (maybe in the dark) to change volume and expecting to get the volume change you expected at first touch. Works fine if you are looking at the speaker and can make sure your hand presses the correct part initially. Will play directly via Bluetooth/airplay as well.

Great sound but not without issues
I love this speaker, the sound of it, but to get lossless audio, I didn't want to use Bluetooth, which meant that I had to buy a £15 3.5mm audio jack adaptor from Sonos, even though it has a USB C connector as well as bluetooth connectivity. It's quite a heavy lump, but not so much so that you can't move it, yet somehow that also makes it feel very durable. While it looks like something that belongs on the Starship Enterprise, and by that I mean it is pretty and futuristic looking, but that also makes it impractical. The worst thing is the Sonos app which made it incredibly difficult to setup and that is part of why I have scored it as I have. If it was purely on the sound, it would get 5 stars, but the app (especially difficulty accessing smart assistant features) and the friction involved in getting around the bluetooth connection i.e. you have to pay even more to access all features such as lossless / spatial audio, make what should have been a joyous purchase leave a bitter taste in the mouth - does very little for brand loyalty.

Sonos Era 300 Speaker is excellent
I have previously purchased other small bluetooth speakers that were ok but not impressive with sound quality or had loud they go, I know a few people who have some of the smaller Sonos speakers and they said how impressed they were so I decided that I would take advantage of the Black Friday deals and get the Sonos Era 300. The speaker arrived in an impressive box which makes you feel that you have bought something that it going to be excellent quality. I decided to put the speaker in my kitchen, it was very easy to set up using the app and to link my various music accounts/podcasts/BBC Sounds Etc. The sound quality is impressive especially with Apple spatial music, the clarity of each individual instrument is excellent (low and high volume), I also wanted a speaker where the volume would be high for when we are having a bit of a party, its definitely fits the bill though I don't think we would be able to have it on full volume, 75% is very loud. The speaker though purchased in the sale is still quite a bit of money but I think it is worth it, and if I decided that I had some spare cash and wanted to get another speaker for another room I wood go for the Sones Era 300 again.

More than happy with the Era 300
I wanted to start putting together a home cinema starting with a projector that I had purchased. The sound from the projector was good but I wanted more. After a lot of research on YouTube, I settled on the Sonos Era 300 to act as a my first purchase. The idea was that I would use the Era 300 and add to the Sonos system with a soundbar, sub and second Era later down the line. The home theatre system is for a medium sized bedroom and have found the Era 300 more than capable of acting as a front speaker. I am more than happy so far and may expand later down the line to a full Dolby surround system but for now it does the job extremely well. Highly recommend this approach if you have a tighter budget and down want to throw down £1k plus for a full system.

Superb speaker
Much better quality than my previous other brand speaker and very easy to connect the tv sound to it whenever I need. The one speaker is enough for a 1 bedroom flat living room of about 30m2. I think its definitely worth the purchase price. I also bought a Sonos 100 recently.

solicita datos personales
Lo he devuelto.
