Oceanology (Ology Series) Hardcover – 1 July 2009

We already have Egyptology and I adore it, so I ordered Oceanology next for my 7 year old son. It is a magical 'keep forever' book as there re so many secrets hidden inside it. As the writing is all in script he does not read it, and is content for the moment with looking at the pictures and prying under the flaps for treasure. The books in this series make excellent gifts also. The only downside for me, is that I have a younger daughter and it seems to be that the Flower Fairy series is a little more enchanting, with huge pop ups and magical looking glasses. A little less imagination has been used on the books for boys.

Have bought a few of the Ology series for my 8 year old daughter - they are great.

The Ology books are a great series,the Grandchildren love the mystery and hidden gems though out the books,nothing to dislikeabout the whole series.Highly recommended.

This book is ideal for children. The children like opening the little envelopes etc and the pictures are so interesting. A really nice book to dip in and out of. You can dream and you can learn.
