Excellent shaver. Had it nearly 10 months now. Only one silly design flaw which I will come to. But excellent overall. Battery life very good. Blades super sharp and you can get a close shave and trim a beard really well. What else to say really? I used to have an older Wahl model and found that really sharp and close too. So the design flaw is that the size labelling of each beard trim attachment is not only tiny but is simply embossed within a tiny circle on each black plastic item, so virtually invisible, especially to anyone without the eyesight of a young child . Given that they all look pretty similar, this is a crucial thing to know as I like to use two grades regularly - a 3mm one for my neckline and 5mm for the beard on my face. More than once I have used the wrong one and shaved an embarrassing line/channel in my beard.... Have tried to get round this with nail varnish dots (see pic) - they eventually came off as don't apply well to this kind of plastic. Latest workaround is small bits of white insulating tape with numbers written clearly on them (see pic). Will see how long that lasts. But I guess they too will wear off/come unstuck over time. Shame as Wahl clearly make good stuff. I see that the Wahl 'pro series' trimer does in fact have big white labels on each clip on attachment with a big black number clearly visible. I guess cheapskates like me who only want to pay £70 instead of over £100 have to put up with barely visible markings. 4 stars not 5 therefore.

This Shaver is just what I have been looking for. I spent so much money on trying to find the best shaver for black men in the past. This one does the job amazingly well. The attachments are so good, especially the one that gives you a close shave. I can do everything with this shaver. It's a little pricey, however I think long term it will be value for money. It's so easy to clean. Fast charge, I love this shaver so much. I did a week of research to find the best shaver for black skin. It's a pleasure to have a shave now, without the hassle of using different shavers to get a smooth finish. I had a nice close shave, then I shaped my hair. I have to be clean and smart for my job. I highly recommended this shaver.

Its no braun series 9 BUT this wahl aqua is awesome. The shave will take 3 minutes. For best results do it in the shower OR make sure your head is wet. This is well worth the money. The battery life is really good its light weight compared to normal sheers. So easy to use. You literally just push the on button and your good to go. Hold the power button in a few seconds longer and it will activate a safety thing so it doesn't go off in ya bag if ya power button accidentally gets pushed. The grips on the device are just right not slippery or anythin. There's NO nippin or pulling on your hair its so smooth its crazy but this is on a wet cut. You choose to fo a dry cut then expect poor results. Reaaly good quality for the price. So happy ive came across this. Now the big question is how long before it brakes or something goes wrong. Definitely worth it. I personally got it for a close shave and not disappointed at all.

Had this for just over two weeks and whilst the shaver unit itself seems to be as expected, can’t say the same for the storage bag supplied. Feels cheap and the seams have already started to split down one side, so pretty soon all the trimming attachments will no doubt spill out through the split in the side making the bag useless. Not what I expected from Wahl, given that they pride themselves on providing professional quality products to Barbers and Hairdressers internationally.

At last my hunt for some quality clippers is over. I’ve been looking for a set that provides a real close cut with no luck - until now! I can honestly say, you won’t get a closer cut without using a razor - perfect. Same applies to the face - I never use a razor on my face, and have always used clippers. These are again perfect, they provide a really close finish but also allows you to have a good tidy up. Price might seem a lot, but if like me, you use them at least once a week - my view is they are worth the investment

Trimmer is quite compact,well build but too many pieces of plastic(a bigger chance of getting water and hair in to it).Way to many attachments(waist of plastic), "case/bag" is useless-zipper broke on first use(this is an example of waist).Blade sharpen is average,manage to pull on beard .A ok price for what u get will be around £50. I'm replacing an Babyliss old of 8 years and £20 ,can't find same model anymore.

Once you learn how to hold it right, this is perfect for trimming beard growth down to a light shadow. For me this is better than any electric razor ever. Also makes shaving much more pleasant if you trim with this first.
