Patriot Memory Supersonic Boost XT USB 3.2 Gen. 1 Flash Drives 256GB

I can't vouch for the USB 3.0 performance but here is my view on USB 2.0 performance using WIN 7 with a 2.4 ghz processor:1) Using two seperate 700mb files I got 19.2-20 mb write speeds and 29-32 mb read speeds. A full 10mb faster than the patriot xt speedboost model I upgraded from. Similar times from a 1.6gb file too that I tested.2) The size is pretty small. It shaved 25% off the length of the patriot xt speedboost model. The cap is held on by friction so make sure to wipe it clean from dust and grime from time to time and it should stay on pretty solidly.3) For around the £20-£30 price range you can't go wrong with this flash drive. I was considering the Kingston DTSE9H for £15.99 until I saw reviews about the horrible sub-5mb write speeds. Also the HPv210w for £20 but thought i'd pay extra for the speed this one provides. I heard good stuff about Supertalent drives but all I checked paled in comparison to Patriot drives size for size and for price ranges.In conclusion it's an absolute fantastic drive for the price. Yes it is more expensive than other drives around the same size but its really worth the extra £££ for the quality and speed/performance it delivers. From the other review about the USB 3.0 performance I can't wait to utilise it when I finally do upgrade to USB 3.0.

I received mines not long after i purchased it, as amazon said expected delivery would be a week later so i am very pleased with the speed delivery.First of, this 3.0 USB drive is fantastic. I did my research a while ago before and have to say i was a bit sceptical as i have never head of Patriot. But the more i did research on this product, the more confident i was in towards buying this product. I have to say, it looks so much smaller than you would imagine in the pictures provided above. It is no bigger than your average teenage sized thumb.It's not entirely compact, but the transfer speed on this is excellent. You would expect USB drives with a USB 3.0 with high transfer rate to be slightly bigger than normal USB drives, that i do understand. It has two seperate chips which makes it high transfer rate. I am no expert but i can tell you that this PATIOT is no ordinary USB drive.As for the price, it is very decent and i am not complaining about it what so ever. If you are looking for an replacement for your USB drives, you will not be disappointed with this PATRIOT. I use mines for illustration work and this rugged protection adds an extra star.Buy one, you will not be disappointed. The transfer rates are high, depending if you have USB 3.0 on your laptop, PC, Alienware etc etc.

It's one of the faster performance drives out there and rather small (shorter) compared to Corsairs Voyager USB 3.0 series. Works as expected, it's a bit slower than the Extreme series by Sandisk but feels much more durable. The cap isn't attached like on the Voyager series but the fit is much better so it doesn't come off as easy. Should be noted that my MSI Z77A-GD65's USB 3.0 ports doesn't like this drive (doesn't get recognized), the USB 2.0 ports runs fine though. I haven't run into that on any other computer/motherboard so I guess its a compatibility issue with this particular motherboard.

I alrady had a USB2 Patriot flash drive (8GB) so I knew how fast these are and I wasn't disappointed with this USB3 version.I get 75+ MBps reading from it and crucially (because I'm using it to watch TV shows from on my media player) I get fast write speeds (around 17 to 20 MBps) so I can load it up quickly and not have to wait.It also performs well on USB 2. Although the read rate is capped by the USB port, the writes are very fast compared to other drives I have. They usually max out at 9 MBps, but this drive give around 14 MBps through a USB 2 port.Patriot seems like a good make, from my (limited) experience.

Great product, looks good and feels rugged enough. Great transfer speeds, would suggest using this for Operating System installs as it greatly reduces install time. I have also used this with Xbox 360 for downloading games with no problems.This is my second Patriot product and will definitely be buying more if the need arises.

Fast, reliable. Delivered overnight. What more can I say? I purchased this as a replacement for a Kingston Data Traveler that I returned to amazon because my laptop constantly failed to recognise it or even stopped recognising it half way through a series of file transfers. I had a smaller Patriot XT previously that was also trouble free, so have learned my lesson: Stick to Patriot - and avoid Kingston.

Looks and feels great with lots of storage and very easy to use

This flash drive appeared to be ok when I first received it, I transferred onto it, then was able to move them where I needed them. I used it twice. It did, however, constantly interfered with my wireless mouse and is now utterly useless, despite having little use, it is now in my bin. I do not recommend this flash drive at ll, I bought mine direct from Amazon.

The product not only looks good but works as intended. I don't have an SSD but for my Hard Drive, it transfers files 3 times faster than my old 2.0 USB. For the price, it's great value.
