Had me in the first half
Honestly, the way this book started really pissed me off and I almost dropped the series, worried that there was going to be a restart with some foreknowledge. Thankfully, while there was quite the change to becoming a kingdom builder, things turned for the better a quarter of the way in.If you enjoy the power, it's not lost,If you enjoy the relationship, don't freak out and drop,If you love the snarky attitude, it's still there.Would give 4.5 if I could because of the sharp turn at the start.

Fantastic
Pretty great continuation off the previous, the idea of a “reset” kind of worked perfectly for an already maxed-out main character. Bit at a loss how the reset actually worked though, I remember bits and pieces saying he lost his aura and the main divine mojo upon expending it to put his wife in the new tree, and then he starts from scratch as a little snake again. So how come he had his original all-consuming power at the end again? What’s the point of the new stats if they don’t actually limit his new form? Does it only apply to his realm? Certainly doesn’t seem like it, he did his little green-nebula-gaseous-light form before popping on over to wipe out the funky centaur douche. All in all I really love this series so far, keep em coming big man. Looking forward to learn more about who the bird bro is and the squirrel folks. Cheers!

Different, but just as captivating!
This book kinda takes a twist on how it's gone so far, almost to the point you start to feel like you're reading a new, different series using the same characters. But when it begins to feel this way, it slowly pulls the changes and past back together, leaving it feeling appropriately cohesive to the past books.I look forward to seeing a few loose ends closed, as I'm curious how those will effect things now that... you know what happened.

roller coaster
Possible spoilers. I’ve always liked this series but as each book came out I felt like the story started going all over the place. This book seemed like I went back to the beginning but with improvements. Then the MC became OP again seemingly out of no where towards the end of the book and I was a little lost on how that happened. But overall I really like the series and can’t wait for the next one.

Fairly good continuation
At first I wasn't thrilled with the book as it totally changed everything and I could care less about the brownies, but towards the end it starts picking up again. Still not sure how some characters are around and the exact relationships are for them but I'm looking forward to finding out.

Dungeon world?
The story made an abrupt transition in book 4 with only minimal setup. It served to partially reset the MC up until the big fight at the end, where he just reverted to his OP ability and devoured everything.

Wow
This book has a magnificent transition. The whole paradigm is shifted for our main characters and it is all written beautifully. I enjoyed this one as much as the first in series

Should have been separate series
Read the first 3 books as they came out and HIGHLY enjoyed them. This one... not so much. Felt like someone read a dungeon building novel and enjoyed it so much they tried to make one even if it killed a already great series. Sad part is could have easily simply had them has two separate series within same universe. Highly disappointed...

New direction barely touched
It’s nice to see the books take a new direction, but the pitiful length leaves me frustrated. Opening up a huge amount of new possibilities and then barely touching on them before rushing to a conclusion…so much more could have been done. This book needed to be three times longer and instead just felt like a prologue that I’m going to have to wait another 6 months for. Here’s hoping the next one has more content!

A fun continuation
This book takes the series in a new direction which I didn't expect but overall it works well. The new style kept the original appeal but also shook up the stakes and story a bit.

Great
The book is overall great, the few problems I have with it could be avoided. These problems are.1. The main story from the previous book moves on to fast.2. Torga powers/skills could be shown in the system. I.e. which ones he still had.3. It's confusing on how strong Torga is at the current moment.4. With the story line with the tree, it would make sense to show how manys years it is.5. The ending isn't great we don't have much of a reason why Orochi hates Torga, hopefully we find out in the next book.Overall it's a great book.

This Series really is Awesome!
As expected, this book was Awesome either, even if i was a little bit sad that all the other friends, companions etc. where gone because Torga ''resetted'' Yggdrasil. It was a pleasant surprise when he just resetted the entire Yggdrasil. Sorry if i spoiled something.I can't wait for book 5! Kenneth Arant, Hurry up!
