KAVU Original Rope Bag Sling Pack with Adjustable Rope Shoulder Strap

I've worn this bag out in the sun for hours and hours every day for about 8 months and I absolutely love it! It's extremely comfortable and fits a surprising amount of stuff for my bird-watching excursions. Right now, it's stuffed with a winter hat, a bulky pair of mittens, reusable shopping bags, ziploc bags, a power bank for my phone, my iPhone 15 in the larger front compartment, my AirPods in the small velcro compartment, a granola bar, a small bottle of Gatorade, pepper spray, a pocket knife, a reflective sash and flashing lights for walking in the dark, and a baggie of peanuts for the squirrels. If I take out the hat and mittens, it fits my Nikon 5200. The black fabric is starting to fade a bit after so much time in the sun, but that's to be expected. The zippers are high-quality and the fact that the strap releases in the front makes it easy to take it off without getting it tangled in my camera strap. I already bought another one in case the swan print gets discontinued!

i got the plain black color. i was worried about the size, but it’s the perfect backpack for everyday or travel. it’s very spacious inside for water bottles, books, etc.. i really love the pockets, you can put your essentials in the front tiny pocket or you can keep them inside the bag in an obscured pocket area. the durability is okay, my front pocket ripped during traveling but it should be okay as long as you’re not doing intense activity with this backpack on.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas of 2022. She loved it. It was her 2nd one. She will literally use something until it’s dismantled. lol. Her previous bag was so dirty and worn so I surprised her w this one. Loved the color. Looks great w any casual attire “sleek enough to wear on a dressy occasion” however she would need about 7 of these for that flexibility. Awesome bags and hers is still in great condition a year later and it’s a daily driver for her. Can’t go wrong!~Husband

I swear I’ve ordered a dozen or more of these bags just to see what the fabrics actually looked like: they are ALL duller in person than shown online (for better or for worse). I have the canvas woodland print and the polyester pinecone print. I can’t really use a bag I can’t wash, so I’ve put both (separately) into lingerie bags and washed them in the machine Olin cold water. They come out looking new again! I hang them in a breezy spot to dry, as the back padding would probably take forever otherwise. To me, these are the “Goldilocks” bags—just right in every way. Oh, and the lower front exterior pocket fits my iPhone 12 (not pro, just regular) like a glove, the upper exterior pocket is tiny but perfect for some mints and a couple of lip balms. Highly recommended; just wish they’d somehow make the fabrics look more true-to-life in the images online.

I purchased this bag after seeing a coworker's. I have always carried a purse but have never been able to find one that I was happy with. No matter what style I chose, I always became frustrated when I had to dig through the purse to try and locate something--many times unsuccessfully! I also had difficulties with my shoulders being uneven due to a heavy purse hanging off of it. This bag solved all of those problems! It is meant to be carried with the strap across your chest and the bag slung across your back. The strap is adjustable for comfort and is very thick and durable. This frees up both hands to carry other things; another bag, books, small children, etc. I had a difficult time choosing what pattern I wanted but eventually settled on this one. The colors aren't quite as bright as this picture but I understand that different computer monitors can depict some variances in color. The lower front pocket is perfect for my iPhone and I'm sure it would accommodate most any other phone. The top pocket is perfect for my car keys. No more searching for my car keys as they are always in that pocket! The two main areas are sooo spacious. Both are zippered so everything stays secure. I was truly amazed at how much stuff I could fit in there! Sure, I could carry less stuff but I like to be prepared! I can fit my wallet, 3 makeup -type bags, my journal, all of my multiple pens, protein bars, diapers and an extra set of kids clothes with room to spare! I'm not exaggerating how much space there is! There is a large zippered pocket in the back of one of the sections. I receive so many compliments on this bag and people are constantly asking me where they can buy one! There are so many colors to choose from, which makes it hard to choose just one! I am seriously looking to purchase an additional one so I can switch it out for variety!

I absolutely love this bag. When I first got the bag I didn't intend to buy this bag and had never even heard of the brand at the time. However, at the time I was going on a trip and wanted something that I could use as both a purse and a backpack. Where it wasn't too small or too big. I had stumbled across this bag and it was on clearance. So I just decided for the price to get it. I probably wouldn't of pick out this color though if it wasn't for the very good deal. Despite the color I ended up loving the bag itself and eventually grew to like the color too. Even after I got back from my trip, I was still using it and I started to use it as my everyday purse. It's now been a little over 3.5 years and I am still using it as my everyday purse to this day. It has held up well and I discovered just how amazing the quality of this bag really is after trying multiple other bags over the years. I just always kept coming back to this one. I even tried the off brand version of this bag and the colors from that off brand bag had transfered to my clothes, very annoying. The Kavu brand does not do that and I will definitely be sticking with the real Kavu for now on.

Un clásico de Kavu. Es la versión de una Jansport para gente más intrépida. Parte de tu outfit para caminatas o paseos. No le cabe mucho pero para lo que están diseñadas es perfecta. Además los motivos y coloridos de esa marca son sello distintivo. Y los materiales son resistentes a tratos rudos.

Great comfortable to wear. Plus size person can wear it. I use this for crossbody carrying or single shoulder. Pockets are spacious hold alot of items. Use as daypurse and hiking accessory. Made from quality materials. Already washed it once zero shrinkage. LOVE this bag. NOTE: Im right handed, might feel awkward for lefties as this item sling is only on one side. Worn crossbody right shoulder.

Would definitely buy again!
