Pelican Voyager Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Case (Black)

This is the second phone I have bought a pelican case for. First one survived 6 months on the Ocean, traveling to 5 countries, countless drops, some as high as 15 feet, shoved into pipes, engine compartments, tanks, and tight areas, sitting on the work bench inside a machine shop while welding, brazing, grinding, and an in general an extremely dirty and active life style. The only issue with the last one was the rubber got soft and started falling off and the buttons feel off. This one buttons feel tougher, and rubber feels more rugged. And honestly, how many times it got soaked in acetone, that's to be expected.But I buy one case and leave it on the phone for years, and me purposely waiting and buying one online despite being offered a free Otterbox when I bought the phone should say something of how much trust I have in these cases.In other words, stop reading, and hit buy now.

This is my 2nd pelican case, to be used on a second phone. Case is strong. Screen protector is flimsy plastic that is scratched easily, hard to see through in a couple weeks. I get rid of the plastic and put a glass protector in, lasts a long time. Clip on belt is breakable. 1st Pelican I had broke, but they replaced it, with me paying $5 shipping.

I have tried several different cases and holsters and found this one is really nice and durable. I like the case for the compact size. The only issue I have is the clip on the holster. It feels like the swivel doesn't lock into place like some of the other ones out there. After I rotate it, I will check it beacuse it feels like it broke and just spins even though it didn't. Overall it is a good product.

Ok, this has got to be the toughest phone case I've ever owned. My phone fell out of the bed of my pickup truck onto the highway at about 50mph. I managed to locate it near my home and amazingly, the phone still worked and had minimal damage. The impact split the case and all I was able to locate was the front bezel, but it obviously did its job perfectly. I'd gladly buy this case again as I'm absolutely amazed at this whole event. Highly recommended!

As someone with concrete floors and the inability to keep from dropping their phone on said floors, this thing is a dream come true. I've dropped my phone from reeeeally high up and it comes out fine. This thing has extended the life of my phone by years and I swear by it.I don't use the screen protector since it's plastic but as the case works and that's all that counts! Glass screen protecter gang represent. I would also consider getting a popsocket for the back of this case. You can't use the holster it comes with but it makes this a lot easier to hold. Add some pockets to your pants, easy solution. It's also not the prettiest phone case out there but who cares? I'd rather have a brick that protects my phone than some flimsy flowery case. Add some stickers or something maybe? Spice up your life?The only reason I had to buy a new case was the plastic button on the lock button broke off. I've had it for around 3 years so I'm not mad. And honestly I'd rather buy a 50$ case than a 800% phone.

This has been very durable. It does have a little crack on the edge now because my horse knocked it out of my pocket onto gravel and stepped on it. But it works great and my phone is fine

The case is decent but the screen scratches really easy. I have to take the case apart to plug certain things into the head phone jack. It does not go into the belt clip very easily.

the thing I like most is that they are tough and my phones get dropped or abused in some form and these cases handle it without phone damage. what I like least is the belt clip.I went through 3 or 4 for my previous phone because it doesn't take much to break them.If they don't plan on a redesign they should make them available as a stand alone item. who needs 3 new cases lying in a drawer because the first one is not going to break.
