I purchased this for my wedding, wanting to find something comfortable and effective, but also something that still allowed me to feel gorgeous. I didn't want anything crazy in terms of shapewear/compression, and my dress did somewhat limit my options for style. This was one of two styles I tried, and this wound up being the clear winner across the board.The material at the waist is soft and comfortable, and the lace wasn't itchy at all (which can always be a concern). It is lightweight and breathable; I was still comfortable even after five hours of dancing outside in a 90°, high humidity, August day in the south. The compression level is very low...definitely won't experience the same shaping that other options can offer, but since I was only looking for something to maintain a smooth look throughout the day and night, this was perfect for me. The waistband didn't slip, roll down, or pinch, and the lace didn't ride up or bunch up under my dress (no wedding day wedgies for me!). It's also survived the washing machine on a delicate cycle in cool water--always a plus.I've worn this shapewear a few times since my wedding and I'm still so happy with my purchase. Literally the *only* thing I would change about this would be adding a cotton gusset. But even that's not a deal breaker for me, thanks to how breathable the material is, and I'll definitely be purchasing again if the need arises.

I love the design, comfort, and look. It keeps the extra loving in without it rolling down from the top or rising up and giving a painful snuggy.

Ride up your butt to the ultimate wedgy. Roll down also at the waist, but not too bad. Otherwise great at shaping your tummy like they say.

So I ordered a large three times and got an xl twice and the large only once. I have narcolepsy which makes it so I can’t drive even with medication, it’s a crazy illness let me tell you, so to return things I have to beg people to take it to the ups store for me - and I don’t have a ups store nearby, it’s an hour away from my house, so no one ever wants to do it. I don’t think companies realize just what an impossible hassle returning things can be for some people, and I have had a string of bad luck lately with purchases. (Again, can’t drive, so I have to shop online…) Anyway the large fits really nicely and works a bit, my partner thinks it’s sexy even though it’s high waisted, but it doesn’t really squeeze my tummy flat. Apparently it’s because I don’t actually have fat around my stomach, I just have a natural annoying curve. But I really like it, it was just annoying trying to get the correct size. Amazon gave me a one-time exception to not return the first xl since it wasn’t my fault but then they sent an X-Large again. Face palm. Anyway. Still 5 star product once I got the correct size.

Runs smaller than usually.

I think it just may be my body style but it was very uncomfortable in the back for me.
