Tasty tomato paste
This listing is for six jars of sun dried tomato paste, which tastes very fresh and full of rich tomato flavour. There is little more than mashed up tomato in the jar, just oil, vinegar, herbs and salt. It is a fairly loose paste, but a handy store cupboard ingredient that makes a good base for a quick homemade pizza or adds an extra boost of tomato flavour to a pasta sauce or cheese sandwich.My jars arrived with an 18 month shelf life, which is reasonable. Once opened, the jar needs to be refrigerated and the contents used within 14 days; not difficult as the paste is very tasty.
