Not effective on Cat
The spray did not work on my Himalayan cat, it kept damaging my dining chairs

Doesn't work.
After I sprayed it and I mean a lot of sprays my cat didn't go near it for three hours. Me too. The smell was so strong and potent. After that my cat went and slept on it. Defeats purpose.

Wish I’d bought this years ago
We have a cat who always scratches on the wrong things. We moved and she started scratching on our brand new carpet and I was desperate to save it. Sprayed a bit of this spray on her favourite spot (the top steps) and lo and behold! She stopped scratching immediately. She didn’t try again for 2 whole weeks, and then I reapplied and she’s been avoiding them again. Works amazing especially considering she used to scratch there every 10 min before! Smells a little like tea tree oil and cloves so not a bad smell, and the smell dissipates quickly. Best $10 ever spent - telling all my friends who have cats about this I also used this brand’s catnip spray on our cat’s new scratching post and she’s been m using it ever since instead of the steps, so I recommend using both sprays together for max effect

World’s scratchiest cat defeated by spray!
I have the world’s scratchiest cat. Love her to death but she and I moved in with my partner and kitty went about destroying the fabric dining room chairs and my partner’s favorite living room chair. Can’t believe it took me months to think of looking for a spray. I sprayed all the scratched surfaces (does smell nice and the smell fades quickly) and the result was instant—no more scratching AT ALL (though she still sits on the chairs, which is good). After 10 days I saw her scratch once, so sprayed everything again. I think the bottle will last for months at this rate—a good deal for 8 bucks. I get that it doesn’t work for all cats, which is a bummer. Definitely thought it wouldn’t work for us, but it seems we got lucky. Wish they made a spray for begging at the dinner table like a damn dog ;-)

Testing on progress
The smell is strong but fades fast. currently seeing how it goe. The packing is a little flimsy so keep upright

Great product, but pump ineffective.
Great product in terms of keeping cats away, but the pump spurts it out in wet, bubbly patches - not ideal when spraying on your good furniture, and it drips everywhere. Should be a trigger spray - I actually bought one to transfer it to.
