The shop I went to wanted to charge me $800 to do it themselves. I watched plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to replace it yourself. I ended up spending about $380 buying this compressor & installing it my self. The majority of that money went to the shop for the diagnostic & and freon evacuation ($120) and to charging the ac system back with freon ($85).
