Oh wow, this book is so cute! I love it and wish that I had it when I was teaching! Clever and entertaining! The kids must love it!

This book is engaging and well written. Kids enjoyed learning about the Schwa and vowels and consonants. It is a great book for story telling and teaching. Kids really enjoyed it.

I used this book with my second grade Word Detectives. They loved learning about the schwa sound through this engaging story and illustrations! There are great suggestions at the back for additional ways to learn about schwa. The author has additional materials on her website to support learning.

As a mom and teacher I was so excited for this book! The story itself is great. While the typo noted by another reviewer was not present in my copy, the typos pictured here were.

This book is perfect for any age but especially for early elementary years when children are learning to read and spell. This well illustrated story is sure to help the schwa explanation stick. And there are many activities in the back of the book too.

My kids all love this book! It’s entertaining but also informative

I have always had a hard time explaining what a schwa sound was to my first and second graders. This book was a wonderful addition to my phonics library. Not only did it get the point across but it was well written with great illustrations. I intend to purchase the other books in this series.
