This looks so pretty on my counter and is so useful! It holds about 2 days worth of compost ingredients. I have never smelled anything bad and it's cute little handle makes it easy to take it out and dump it into my compost outside. I live alone so I don't have a lot of things to take out - maybe if I had a bigger family it might be too small...but for me it's perfect.

OK so right off I will say that I don't like the venting system in the lid. I'd rather have a completely solid lid with no holes. I covered them with clear tape on the top and bottom and it's much better. I use this for food scraps for my chickens and it looks cute on my counter.

I like the size and the look of this bin. It comes with the mat to protect your countertop and another mat for drying when cleaning it. The only flaw I notice is the inside handle. It makes the lid not completely shut as shown in the photos. On the contrary, no foul smell, flies or insects are present. I may have used a compostable bag only to keep at bay the flies and insects in my large green trash bin outside my house that may attract them and also, to maintain it clean. I still gave 5 stars for it still works as intended and I needed this for I value the importance of composting.

Serves the purpose, looks attractive on counter. Easy to use. I don't know how anyone thinks its odorless unless you empty it daily, which we don't. Great product though.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas and she loves it! She keeps it on the back porch, and I was helping her garden the other week, she opened it and I about fell out the smell was putrid! I will never personally compost because the smell is so bad but this thing lets no smell out with the cap on. Seriously buy this if you are into that stuff

UPDATE: The seller never responded to my request for a new bucket. One month later I tried to contact the seller again, not it says "customer support no longer available for this item".I really liked this compost bucket, but after only one month it has TWO BIG CRACKS in the plastic liner bucket. I've contacted the seller to see if they will send me a new bucket.

I must have looked for weeks for what I wanted even ordered and sent back a couple. I wanted something that didn't stand out but that looked nice. This is exactly what I was looking for. I just got it so not sure how it will work for smell. But, I will be using it to put coffee pods after I use them so I don't believe there will be a smell. When it fills up, I take it outside and empty the used coffee into my garden for recycling. Should work great.

I love how easy it is to use. The inner bucket comes right out and is very easy to carry to compost bins. Very easy to clean after as well. The bin is cute and looks great with my decor!
