I love this dress & was not disppointed! It’s beautiful, well made & fits perfect!I think the key to this style of dress is buying the right size for your body type. I wear a US 10, M/L (most of the time a large if I’m wearing a dress due to my long torso and arms). I’m 5’9”, 155 lbs. & ordered a large- I’m 38”, 35”, 41” currently with the holiday weight still holding on & the dress fits like a glove and is very flattering.I noticed some complained of the underskirt puckering wear it’s attached to the fringe. I did not have that problem but with my dress, the skirt was loosely fitted over my hips then free flowing & “loose” around my thighs- which I think was the difference. The workmanship was beautiful and high quality. Because of the fringe and beading overlay, this is not a dress you can wear every day or get very physical in, but if you buy it for a formal or party, you should be fine & should be able to dance the night away without fear. You also do not have to wear any kind of special bra with this dress.This is my second dress of simular style & wont be my last. So happy with it!

I ordered quite a few flapper dresses and this was probably the one I like the best. After seeing other photos of women in this dress, I decided to get it. I am not really into the colored dresses like red, blue, etc. I really liked the double layer of fringe at the bottom and the white slip underneath the black mesh. It was simple, yet still cute and stylish. Not to gaudy like some of the others. I ordered this in a Large and could probably even do a Medium. I am 5'5" and approx 170lbs.

I don't know where to start...I had a Christmas party coming up. A Big Deal - dress up. Not black tie, but dressy none-the-less. I like to go all out. I had run across this dress around Halloween time when I was researching a costume. I used to have a flapper dress back in the day and this one spoke volumes to me, just looking at it in Amazon.I NEVER buy clothing online. The fit is never guaranteed. This dress fit amazing. I am 5'8" and I weight 168, wear a D cup bra size and I ordered an X-large, just to make sure it would fit. I scoured the reviews and felt fairly confident that this would be the right size. OMG, it fit fantastic. Not tight, I didn't have to 'suck it up' all night (well, I did because I am that insecure, but I didn't have to 'suck it up' because the dress was tight).At the party, I ate, I drank and there was a lot of dancing. And I was comfortable. And I felt sexy and awesome. The dress itself is made pretty well. There were no dangling threads and at the end of the night, none of the sequins were falling off, and I really gave this dress a work out. I can't recommend this dress enough. AND - if I wanted to be a flapper for Halloween next year, I already have the dress.

Beautiful dress, nice quality! Great price too I got a size bigger XL because of my breast size I’m a 38/40 D I’m 170 pounds 5’3 , it did go pass my knee it still looks great!! I could have gotten a L but I’m always skeptical on the top sometimes it don’t fit , it was loose from the waist down because of the XL overall beautiful dress a Large would have fit perfectly even for my bust I would worn a different bra , the front and back are the same,

I originally bought this dress in a medium, but found it a bit too tight and clingy for my taste in this style of dress. For reference I am 5'5", 130# with a pretty average build. Not as streamlined as I was 20-30 years ago, though, so if you're the same stats but in whip-shape, or you DO prefer fits-like-glove, then I'd say this fits true to size and you're safe going that route. I re-ordered it in a large, and am extremely pleased. The hang is more flapper-straight and gives me more wiggle room, but it does *not* bunch in the back - a problem I have had sizing up with other dresses of this style - nor look baggy. With the extra "breathing space" it feels like I could dance all night in this without suddenly overheating as if I am wearing a thermal sheath (another consideration I have to make these days), yet it still curves nicely and is very flattering.This is a perfect 20's costume dress, but classy enough I do think it can be accessorized for a more contemporary cocktail/holiday party or dress-up dinner. The bling makes it a bit delicate, yet is has the solid feel of a much more expensive garment. I am hoping with careful hand washing and flat/hang drying, it will last through many enjoyable wearings. Shiny enough for any shindig, and for the price definitely five stars!!

This dress is beautiful in person and is very well made. I ordered the xl and I usually wear a size 14 pant/large x-large top. My bra size is a 36DD and the dress fit perfect! I am about 5’5 and the dress fringe hit right below my knee. Perfect in every way!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous, I ordered the XL which is a UK16, but I was still worried about the size based on the measurements.I needn’t have worried as it’s lovely even maybe a little loose around the top. I also hate having my knees on show so wasn’t sure if this would suit me but the double fringe covers my knees and falls to a flattering midi length (I’m 5ft 8in).The dress is well made, flattering and I’m a little bit in love with it! I bought it for a 1920s event but will probably wear it to my Christmas party too!

Fantastic quality and fit. Much nicer than I had expected for the price. Would be great for a Christmas party or black tie event. I am a busty size 18 and 5ft 8 and ordered the XXL which fitted perfectly, bottom of the fringing came to rest on my kneecap. The colour was lovely too. Very impressed. I'm on the right in the photo

I don’t often write reviews but I’ve been so impressed with the quality of the dress for the price that I felt the need to write one.I’m a size 10 / 12 (on the bottom half) depending on the shop. I ordered a medium and found it fit nicely but maybe a little loose round the chest so I ordered a small and this fits perfectly. I will be wearing with black tights as it’s Christmas and cold but would feel fine wearing this without tights (although wouldn’t do too much bending over just in case!) and I’m 5’8” I literally never have any luck ordering clothes on the internet due to sizing but this has been great.I paid extra to have the items delivered by 1pm the following day and everything arrived on time.Considering the price I’m impressed with the quality and the detail on the dress, it really is fab. I also ordered some accessories including gloves, headband and cigarette which came as a package and I’m really pleased as it completes the outfit. We’re off to an immersive theatre Gatsby production tonight and I can’t wait to wear it!

Pleasantly surprised by this dress. Very good for the price. Ordered 2 sizes in 2 colours and ended up keeping the champagne in size small. Normally have problems with dresses as I am quite petite (5’2”) size 8 bottom half, and big busted. (Not ideal for dress shopping usually!) The extra small fitted reasonably okay but the small accommodated my boobs better and the fit was more in keeping with 1920’s style. Has an element of stretch which is fab and quite flattering. Wore it for a friend’s 40th party- Peaky Blinders theme. Lost a few bits of fringing as the night progressed but not too noticeably and the dress still looks fine. Don’t normally leave reviews but found other people’s helpful so thought I would.

I’m usually a British size 12/14 & this size large fits exactly as I thought . Although a little snug on hips due to Christmas over indulging lovely dress . I’m 5”8 & it’s a sensible length . Quality of this dress for price is very good can’t wait to wear it now .
