Good picture, but poor case design
The picture quality is very good for the price and will not disappoint. The functions are easy to use and the monitor sets up from the box without any hassle. The monitor comes with power and VGA cables which should be fine for most people.The big gripe I have is with the placement of the rear sockets, clearly no thought has been considered with these????. Instead of the usual bottom entry which makes it ideal for using on 3rd party adjustable stands or wall mounting brackets, the sockets are on the rear. Therefore you are limited to using the crappy stand that comes with the monitor. As I ordered this for a wall mount location, it was pretty useless for it's intended location, however I swapped it for one elsewhere so it wasn't wasted.Just be aware if you are going to wall mount or fit to your own bracket then you will most likely be out of luck.

Really good value for a great monitor
Really good value for a great monitor. The picture quality is great, whether it's a Word document, Netflix or a video game. Very happy with my purchase.

One of the worst screens I have ever had the misfortune to use
Pay the extra and get a better screen than this, no amount of tweaking of the settings on either the screen itself or in the likes of the NVidia control panel would give an acceptable image. Blacks look grey and whites are borderline eye-melting, try to change that and everything vanishes into the murky depths. I have it sitting side by side with another (admittedly slightly more expensive) Asus and the difference in quality is like night and day. Don't waste your time with this screen, it's not worth the hassle of inevitably returning it. The build quality is fine so 2 stars there, it would function acceptably as a one-use door stop.
