Really haven't been able to go hunting yet although I have 'practiced' with it. I will update when I finally get out in the field with it. It does seem well built and sturdy. I am rough on equipment so I believe it will hold up. Some of my search areas are creeks so I will be very dependent on this coil being 'water proof' as advertised.

I am in love with my garrett 400, have not struck gold YET ! ;) I HAVE found some coins :) the best coin i have found so far is a Canadian penny from 1939 :) it is always a good time when I am out with my metal detector I loose track of time :)
