I bought this book having seen a reference to it when searching the internet for information on German internees in East Africa during World War Two. It far exceeded my expectations. Well-researched with many photographs plus excellent references & bibliography it gives the history of the Templers who left Palestine to settle in German East Africa prior to World War One. They lost everything they had in that war yet many returned and with great courage started again, only to lose it all again in the next war. You'll find much information here you won't locate anywhere else! Highly recommended.
