Camera grip - it’s actually not bad.
Camera gripThis really isn’t that bad, I bought it despite the poor reviews. It’s nice and light (hence the cheap feel?) and sticks nice and firmly to my MagSafe case on my 13 Pro Max. The ergonomics are not perfect - the “shutter button” is not quite in the right place (IMO) and it also has a rather hard clicky feel, but it does the job. The Bluetooth trigger seems to work ok, there is a slight lag but I don’t know how that compares to similar (but more expensive) products. The width of the grip is the same width as my iPhone 13 Max. On my wife’s “normal sized” iPhone 13 it’s larger, and so looks a bit awkward. There are other camera grips on Amazon, some that are twice as expensive and look identical right down to the cheesy words on the front; there are some that are three times the cost but do have a powerbank built in. Some are even more expensive and may well be far superior, but for a tenner this one is quite adequate. One side benefit of this grip is that it has a charging coil, so when connected to power via the USB-C socket, it will charge the phone and serves as a pretty decent (although rather upright) desktop stand. Try finding a MagSafe charger stand for a tenner, let alone one that doubles as a camera grip. On the first one ordered , the USB-C socket was faulty as the charging cable only worked one way round, and as it was a right angled cable it was quite obvious. A second unit ordered seems ok.I wish this had provision for a wrist strap. As it was inexpensive I may just try drilling a hole in it.

Its ok. Not great but ok.
Its easy to use, connect but the magnet isnt great. The handle isnt much organic for ease of grip and handle.

Great for photos
Turns iPhone into a bridge camera (almost) lovely to use when taking lots of pics. Lightweight and responsive.

Not the best model.
Cheap plastic. Glue not holding grip together properly. Good idea but clearly a cheap copy. Returned.

Cheap but does work, charging only while connected via USB pass thru
Package has everything you need and the instructions are simple for setup. it is cheap plastic though and the charging of the phone only works while connected to a power source via USB and the device is charging itself, acting as a pass thru charger. It does not seem to charge as a stand alone battery. The magnets are just enough for a decent connection, but stronger magnets would be better and more welcome. There is no tripod screw mount on the device. Have not tested if it holds well with a magnetic tripod mount securely.
