These are pretty nice carbonaters. Downside is bottles are too tall to fit standing in your fridge, construction of bottles is cheaper than Drinkpod and Sodastream and the bottles hold 50ml less. But in these, you do not have to remove solids before carbonating and you can carbonate any beverage. Buyer beware: if you purchase the chrome unit, the accompanying bottles are silver, not chrome! Because that discrepancy is not in the description which makes the description misleading, I downgrade from 4 stars to 3 stars.

Update to my original review…If you don’t plan on drinking the ENTIRE container yourself right away or serving it to guests… don’t buy this. The water goes flat with 5 minutes of opening.I don’t know how it works yet because I won’t get the CO2 until Thursday. I was hoping the bottles would be a good size for travel… in a purse, briefcase or in hand. They are enormous! I carry a small backpack and it won’t even fit in it. I enclosed the picture for reference. That is a 28 ounce all- purpose cleaner for comparison.
