Works great!
Had a cable grow into a tree. These cut thru the cable like butter. I had tried several different pairs of cutters but was unsuccessful. These made it so easy.

Solid and clean cut
These work really well, and make a nice clean cut on brake and shifter cables. Does not require much strength at all to make a cut. Cuts housing pretty clean too, without deforming or mashing it too much. Well worth the price point.

Cut through dog's tie out cable easily
I ran over my dog's tie out cable with my riding mower and it was wrapped around the blade tightly. These cutters cut through the 1/16" steel cable coated in plastic effortlessly. I'm sure it would have cut through steel cable twice as thick. Very satisfied.

Does the job.

So so
These cable cutters are built solid, but two things about them. One thing is they appear to be sharp but didn’t even cut through a bike cable cleanly. The other is the tension sprin on it, while it works ok now it’s undoubtedly set up to fall
