excellent mower
first off to start with , this is a excellent mower , very lightweight and very easy to put together, it is set by default on the lowest setting , which is fine for most of my lawn but for the longer grass (which was still damp) it struggled on the lowest setting , if so much that the thermal cut out kicked in because the wet grass stopped the blade spinning , i thought id broke it after just five mins use, changed the fuse and tried a diff socket and nothing so went on the interweb to see if any others had the same issues , found out about thermal cut out and while i was doing all this the thermal thing had reset itself and the mower was fine again, set it on the highest setting and cut the damp grass with no problems , lowered to medium after letting the grass dry and cut again with no problem , just waiting for it to dry so i can do a cut on the lowest setting. overall a decent mower for the price , lightweight and quite compact , worth buying for small to medium garderns (mines 30-40ft long and 15-20ft wide ) it cut it all in about 20-30 mins no problems at all other than the ones above but i think that was my fault :)

Very efficient
I had previously used a Flymo hover mower, but this one seemed to offer slightly better value so I thought I would give it a try. Assembly was OK until I got to the grass box, which was an absolute pig. The lid is quite solid plastic, whereas the basket is more flexible. Tongues from one fit into slots on the other, but because the basket is flexible, it is extremely difficult to line up the two. As you need to put the handle on the lid first, assembly can only be done with the lid at the top. It took longer to do that part than to unpack the mower, read the instructions, and fit the handles. Did it eventually at great cost to my blood pressure.Apart from that a very good mower - much more powerful that my old hover. I inadvertently left it low cut which is how it was delivered and not having mowed my lawn for a couple of weeks due to wet weather, I found the grass collector filling up quickly. Two small - medium lawns nearly filled a wheelie bin. We get a lot of moss in the lawn and the suction power of the mower was enough to drag out large quantities. I have now adjusted to medium cut which is fine.If you're used to a hover mower, you need to be aware of how to turn in a restricted space, but easy to get used to.For storage, the handles are bolted on so the mower is about two feet longer than the hover where you can fold the handles.Overall, very pleased with it.

Good mower
Good Quality, easy assembly. Adjustable height on the handle. The storage box is quite heavy when totally full. Grass clings to roller on the back. I find it difficult to push with the roller so not that easy to use, but I am an older lady, but my husband too has some issues using it too. Not as easy to use our previous mower (Bosch)

Great little mower
After my old flymo stopped working after about 15 years thought I would stick to the same brand .Assembly was going fine until I got to the dreaded grass box other reviewers had a problem with after a lot of swearing and huffing and puffing finally got it after about 10 minutes, my grass was a bit long in places so opted to change the height settings to the highest and the blade barely touched it on to the middle setting that took a bit off so I moved it to its lowest setting that give it a really good cut wee stripes and all ,grass box holds plenty and is easy to lift off to empty it’s a lot lighter than my old one I find it has plenty of cable but I always use mine with an extension lead with one of those trip switch plugs in case of any unforeseen accidents .

Mow problems here...
Good little Mower for small to medium lawns.Easy to assemble, took less than ten mins from opening the box.Cuts the grass well with a choice of cut heights. Little roller at the back to help give that striped effect. Didn't really work on my lawn, but that's probably due to the quality of my lawn more than anything.Collects grass very well and compacts it into the collecting box so less trips to empty it.Easy to manouver around the garden with a carrying handle to lift it into the shed or whatnot. Not enough length on cable to reach the end of my garden, about 20m, but that's pretty normal, I've always had to use an extension cord. Can't really fault it. Great little Mower for the price.

Sturdy mower that cuts the lawn a treat
Sturdy well put together mower. Easy to assemble (my first time ever putting something together reading instructions) if I can do it anyone can. Made a fantastic job of the lawn. There’s a bar where the front wheels are to lower or higher the grass length. You do need a little strength to adjust these but once you get the knack it’s pretty easy. Would definitely recommend for the price. Doesn’t take up too much room in the shed either. Thanks

HARD WORK
The assembly is fairly good up until the grass box. That requires you to slot in a lot of slots into a moving frame with limited sight. It is far from easy and requires a lot of,luck to get it done at all.The wheel adjustment is something I am still working on. I think I have to physically push the wheels up or down to adjust the height although the instrictions show a lever as well as a diagram of pushing. IF I can sort it out I think it is just what I want. If not I shall have to try again. Not recommended for anyone with poor eyesight or physical problems.LATER Wheel adjustement is by forcing the wheels against a spring. Each wheel needs adjusting individulally and if one gets too far out of sync with the other they can jam and you need to push them back. The rear ones were slightly easier than the front ones. It requires a LOT of strength. Not a good system at all.LATER STILL Now loooking at having artificial grass installed. This machine is a good way of convinving me that it will be better in the long run.
